Guilty Plea Expected for Reed Deputy Chief of Staff Katrina Taylor-Parks

The wide-ranging City of Atlanta corruption investigation is likely to have yet another guilty plea US Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia BJay Pak issued a statement today saying Katrina Taylor-Parks will appear before a federal prosecutor at 3:00 PM on Aug. 13 where she will plead guilty to conspiracy to bribery charges.  Pak

Top Official in Fmr Mayor Reed to Appear in Federal Court Today

Katrina Taylor-Parks, who served as former Mayor Kasim Reed’s Deputy Chief of Staff, is expected to appear in front of a federal judge this afternoon as part of the ongoing corruption investigation into Reed’s administration. Multiple media reports say Taylor-Parks and her husband received thousands of dollars in payments from an unspecified airport vendor.  The
