Top Official in Fmr Mayor Reed to Appear in Federal Court Today

Katrina Taylor-Parks, who served as former Mayor Kasim Reed’s Deputy Chief of Staff, is expected to appear in front of a federal judge this afternoon as part of the ongoing corruption investigation into Reed’s administration.

Multiple media reports say Taylor-Parks and her husband received thousands of dollars in payments from an unspecified airport vendor. 

The reports say she is charged with conspiracy to commit bribery according to court documents unsealed earlier on Wednesday.
