Guilty Plea Expected for Reed Deputy Chief of Staff Katrina Taylor-Parks
The wide-ranging City of Atlanta corruption investigation is likely to have yet another guilty plea
US Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia BJay Pak issued a statement today saying Katrina Taylor-Parks will appear before a federal prosecutor at 3:00 PM on Aug. 13 where she will plead guilty to conspiracy to bribery charges.
Pak said in the statement:
“As the Deputy Chief of Staff, the City of Atlanta and its citizens placed immeasurable trust in Parks to act in the best interests of the city. Public officials have a responsibility to lead with integrity. Regrettably, Parks allegedly exchanged the power and trust given to her for bribe money paid by a city contractor.”

Let’s face it. If the Democratic candidate for President had won, we wouldn’t be talking about all of this. Everything would have been quietly buried. But that candidate did not win, so here we are.
They had already gone down the pay to play rabbit holes on other airport related construction and bribery issues prior to Trump being in office. They are hopping down the bunny trails to the next in line. There will be more.
