I personally don’t dislike Kanye because he likes Trump. That is one of the least offensive thing about him. I dislike him (not hate – dislike) because he’s an Egotistical Ass.

My dad drinks at the American Legion. That’s what they do there- sit around a drink cheap-ass beer and make a bunch of stupid generalizations about the world and whole swaths of people because they are too mentally lazy to actually try to understand anything or anyone that might disrupt their simplistic fantasy world.
At least my Dad has enough sense to know that you don’t run that BS out in public.

The Link to the AP story on the media wanting Trum in Florida yesterday doesn’t mention or quote the source of wanting Trumpp in Florida. I listened to almost all of the major media outlets either online, cable, twitter, print, etc… during the day and night yesterday to keep up with how the weather would affect our clients…ect. I don’t recall any one saying he needed to be in Florida. I heard many say he needed to not be in Pennsylvania, and a lot of Florida based outlets asked why DeSanta was on Fox “campaigning”. Did I miss the Trump needing to be in Florida report? I want to reference it so I can send the correct editor my opinion on the reporter’s lack of common sence.
I guess this hurricane is okay since it was mostly white folks that got hit. I didn’t see any morons out blaming Bush I mean Trump for them not evacuating…Oh I guess the press got tired of running the lie of a story line how Trump doesn’t care. That was before the Carolina hurricane.

When I was a kid the hurricanes only hit the poor areas! We didn’t need no stinkin’ government handout FEMA! Those people took care of themselves. We didn’t have to help them at all! And it wasn’t all over the TV 24/7 like it is now. Next thing you know somebody will be kneeling during the storm to protest some stupid idea! Can’t even watch a hurricane in peace! And this storm was pretty much done after 24 hours, so where’s your Global Warming now, huh?

Ellynn, we know you’d be happy if POTUS got blown away in a hurricane, but I’m pretty sure Secret Service wouldn’t approve of that. But there obviously a number of media outlets who would have loved to see Prez Trump put our Commander in Chief in harm’s way, for their enjoyment only. Cause everybody else had been evacuated by FEMA and the State of Florida.
Note that I wanted the link to the story and the reporter who wanted Trump to go to Florida to send of an email to complain about his lack of common sense. Do you really think I would take enjoyment of having the secret service follow Trump around wasting time and resources when the LEO’s and Coast Guard are needed to save others? Just talked to my dad. He drinks at both the VFW and the AL. He prefers the VFW though. Apparently you just have to be vouched for by a member, and pay some dues I suppose.
The American Legion bar on the south end of Forsyth Park is one of the best burger joints in the city. Also a SCAD favorite. The mix of aging vets, neighborhood locals, and art students is amazing. It should also be noted their building has a full ‘members only assembly room’, a ballroom and stage upstairs, a hip locally grown food bistro, a 40 year old health food store and an organic coffee house which is the meeting place of all things liberal, poetry, and indie music..
That place sounds as good or better than Myrtles! Sign me up.

Increasing interest rates from a long extended period of very low rates, with the economy doing well, is the prudent thing to do. I would have instead written conservative two years ago, but using conservative would confuse people. Republicans have made it meaningless in that context.
