Biden’s Jim Crow comment is hyperbolic, but the Trumpified GOP is blind to the literal black and white optics, so I guess a bit of political hyperbole is allowed. Considering the density of Governor Gump Kemp in his rush to sign this legislation to prove his bona fides to a Trump faction that is going to primary him anyway even hyperbole is lost. While much of the law is not that all that onerous Shafer, Kemp et al. have succeeded in once again portraying the majority of Georgians on the national stage as a bunch of Crackers.
