I hope they have enough people. Should we have a betting pool for if they finish next Friday? The winners get to say, “I told you so!” I’m an optimist, I think they will get it done. November 13, 2020 8:53 AM Log in to Reply bethebalance I heard a mention that state Republican party sent a second letter to SoS last night? If so, and anyone has, would like to read. November 13, 2020 4:27 PM Log in to Reply armanidog Not really sure but it may be referencing the Trump campaign requesting a recount after the hand ballot recount is done. Per Georgia law, that Trump recount will be done by the tabulating machine and not a hand recount. It’s about what you would expect, lots of whining about the inadequacies of the recount process. At least they spelled ‘Georgia’ correctly. https://www.cbs46.com/news/georgia-gop-implores-secretary-of-state-to-revisit-audit-protocols/article_4561cafa-2559-11eb-8762-aba7df1679d9.html https://bloximages.newyork1.vip.townnews.com/cbs46.com/content/tncms/assets/v3/editorial/0/0d/00d72308-255e-11eb-abbb-af1eb2edf9bf/5fadf9d8b1b0f.pdf.pdf November 14, 2020 8:45 AM Log in to Reply bethebalance Thanks! Fueled by new support in the suburbs and soaring turnout in cities, Biden did something no other Democrat has accomplished since 1992. Though he clinched the presidency days ago, the victory here was a capstone for Democrats who struggled for years to change the state’s political landscape. It was a razor-thin win, with Biden ahead by roughly 14,000 votes. Several media outlets projected Biden’s victory in Georgia early Friday afternoon, as election staffers began a statewide recount of the nearly 5 million ballots cast in the presidential race. State officials have said the results will not change the outcome.” https://www.ajc.com/politics/joe-biden-captures-georgia-in-race-for-the-white-house/FJYFDBSCZRF3XJNYVUOE2IIBUU/ November 13, 2020 7:24 PM Log in to Reply armanidog (Reuters) – The Trump Administration will take key steps to finalize a sale of oil drilling leases in the sensitive Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) in Alaska just before Democrat Joseph Biden, who opposes drilling there, becomes president, a government spokeswoman said on Friday. What a cow turd Trump is turning out to be. I hope Biden ties this deal up with so many regulations, the oil companies walk away. How many of you gave money to Trump? I hope you got a reciept and can ask for your money back. November 13, 2020 7:43 PM Log in to Reply Add a Comment Cancel replyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
