Morning Reads for Women’s Equality Day (August 26)

Happy Women’s Equality Day! Representative Bella Abzug first introduced the day in 1971, and it became an act of Congress in 1973 that each August 26th would be set aside to honor the certification of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution, granting women the right to vote. It further calls attention to women’s continuing quest for equality in the United States and abroad.

Today is also National Dog Day! You should definitely post pictures of your dog in the comments. I love pet pictures. 🙂
