Politico: Marjorie Taylor Greene Condemned by House GOP Leaders
Politico is reporting that Marjorie Taylor Greene is being condemned by Republican leaders in the US House for numerous remarks that she has made about Muslims, African Americans, among others. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, House Minority Whip Steve Scalise, and NRCC Chaiman Tom Emmer all weighed in condemning her, either directly or through a spokesperson.
Reps. Austin Scott, Buddy Carter, Karen Handel, and Drew Ferguson have all come out in support of Marjorie Taylor Greene’s opponent, Dr. John Cowan, in the August 11 GOP runoff in GA-14.

She doesn’t even live in our district. Maybe she should just stay out of the 14th.
Greene also believes in the Qanon conspiracy theory, which asserts that an anonymous person named Q on the alt-right internet site 8chan has inside information about the federal government, namely that a cabal of billionaire pedophiles are in control of the government. This Qanon conspiracy theory further claims that Trump is planning an epic take down of this cabal. Much of the national media has already covered this. The CNN story references (and links to) a 2017 video that Greene made it which she claims that up to one-third of those in the federal government are involved in this pedophile conspiracy. Greene has a number of other similar videos on Youtube. That means that Greene’s completely lunatic views, which are dangerous and should disqualify her from public office, are all in plain view.
I live in the 14th district. I never liked Greene from the outset, if for no other reason than because she isn’t from the district and has moved here recently just to run for office. She clearly has a lot of money and has run well by going all out as a pro-Trump candidate. However, I don’t think many people in the 14th district, including a lot of her supporters, are aware of her nutty conspiracy theory ideas. I just found out a few days ago from this CNN story.
My question is why isn’t Georgia media, including local media and the AJC all over the Greene story? She is currently the front runner in the upcoming runoff with John Cowan. The public really needs to know the extent of her crazy ideas. At a minimum, she has a lot of explaining to do. The Georgia media has failed the public with this story. They really need to step things up. Please pass this along to the AJC or some other media outlet in Georgia that should have already run stories on this.
I was kinda hoping that her and the SWAT Doctor would have a shooting match and or who could field strip and AR-15 and put it back together to determine the outcome up here in the 14th
Sad look for the voters of the 14th.
Here’s my insight into the mentality that love her style.
A local family I know somewhat well have occasional business with us.
Their lawn & vehicle are monuments to this lady in the form of signs and bumper stickers. They proudly wear their t-shirts supporting her.
For those unaware, her campaign slogan is “Stop Socialism”.
This is a household of 7-8 depending on who’s in jail at the moment.
Every one of them except the mid 50’s grandmother & one son are on disability.
Father, son #2, daughter-in-law, grandkids all receive public assistance
Disability checks, SNAP, Medicaid, PeachCare, free school lunches, you name it they get it.
Come hell or high water, these are the people determined to stop socialism.
