Jail Possible for Violating New Fulton Shelter-in-Place Order

An administrative order on the Fulton County Board of Health website says anyone who violates the county’s shelter-in-place order could go to jail for a year.

The order was passed on March 31 with the usual exceptions that, candidly, probably make all of this useless.

However, the notice says any violation of this order is a misdemeanor and each offense could lead to $1,000 in fines or 12 months in jail.

Seriously y’all: just stay home. This isn’t challenging.
