President Carter Hospitalized
On this Veterans Day, President Jimmy Carter – our last living President who served in WWII, has been admitted to the hospital. The Carter Center announced the following:
ATLANTA—Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter was admitted to Emory University Hospital this evening for a procedure to relieve pressure on his brain, caused by bleeding due to his recent falls. The procedure is scheduled for tomorrow morning. President Carter is resting comfortably, and his wife, Rosalynn, is with him.
I extend prayers from all here at GeorgiaPol to President Carter who continues to be a valiant fighter, and has served our country honorably in many capacities. Get well soon, sir.
