Georgia’s bustin’ out all over. Athens has just what Wayfair needs. Nobody wants to be a nurse anymore. Wow. Dude. That’s a great echo. Florida city caves to ransomware attack. Run away. Run away. Robot bartenders? How on earth do you flirt with a machine? You can check out any time you want, but you can never leave. The GOP will explain military action was unavoidable if it comes to that., though it would have been avoided had Trump not withdrawn the US from the nuclear deal. But that’s a lie for another day. bustercrabbe 1 year ago Reply to Dave Bearse Yes it’s Trump’s fault the drone was shot down! If he was not a racist and Islamophobe it certainly wouldn’t have happened! Wait, Trump could be lying about the drone strike …and the moon landing too. He is just trying to start another war. I heard that on CNN and The NY Times. It must be true… The mind is a terrible thing to waste… Dave Bearse 1 year ago Reply to bustercrabbe I didn’t say the drone downing was Trump’s fault. It had nothing to do with his racism or Islamophobic pandering. You must be a hardworking Georgian. Trump doesn’t want to start another war, but him doing so is a significant risk given his instability, and the sycophants and war-mongerers about him. Necons are now making the case the Iranian regime is so fragile the US military could depose it—who needs allies anyway. Yeah, they’ve really thought this through. auh2o 1 year ago Reply to Dave Bearse Are insults enough of a campaign strategy to win for Trump’s opposition? Serious question. Where is the 2019 version of serious Democrat politicians like Sam Nunn or Bill Bradley? And the major insult of “racism” is getting ready to tag Biden if the Democrats aren’t careful. He’s gonna be “Trent Lott-ed” if this plays out like it appears it might. I am looking forward to next weekend’s Democrat debates. Aside from Biden not one has a chance. bustercrabbe 1 year ago Reply to auh2o Is there any economic message from the democrats? The only thing anyone has heard is we will tax you to death and you are going to like it. Who wants that? How on earth can that win? Dave Bearse 1 year ago Reply to auh2o Insults? It’s the style of the Republican head of government, it being necessary to communicate with conservatives in a style they know and understand. Dave Bearse 1 year ago Reply to bustercrabbe It’s tough to say anything complimentary about Trump calling off a retaliatory military strike in response to the drone downing beyond Trump noting 150 lives was not proportional, because of his instability, narcissism and serial lying. Who calls off an attack 10 minutes beforehand with planes in the air? Trump said he didn’t order plan preparation, but planes were in the air when he ordered it stopped? Trump stopped it after asking how many casualties were anticipated—like nobody but a stable genius would have thought of that—and the military hadn’t already told him. Trump has turned the US into a… Read more » auh2o 1 year ago Reply to Dave Bearse Leadership and restraint on full display. Trump’s margin of victory in ‘20 just got bigger. I feel sorry for the opposition. NoParty4Me 1 year ago Reply to auh2o Trump’s MO: create fake crisis – threaten action over fake crisis – claim negotiation victory – Claim non-existent, fake crisis solved. (footnote for any Trump crisis: review Trump’s tweets and you will find Trump lambasted Obama, Dems, Rosie O’Donnell etal for taking the same action Trump does now) bustercrabbe 1 year ago Reply to NoParty4Me Democrats told us that there was no crisis at the border. Isn’t that a colossal lie? Is Trump finally addressing 40 years of Chinese cheating a made up problem? How about NATO not paying their bills? The democrats said so. Was having a tax code that pushed jobs ovrerseas for decades a made up problem? Do liberals have any credibility on so many topics? Shouldn’t they thank Trump for addressing these problems? NoParty4Me 1 year ago Reply to bustercrabbe It wasn’t one party that claimed there was no crisis at the border. Many reality based military, Security, state, local officials and other government and non-gov employees and people “with-a clue” said this. You Russian trolls need to stop fixating on “party-this-party-that” trolling. It’s not even credible. bustercrabbe 1 year ago Reply to NoParty4Me Baloney. Look at the way the parties handle these problems TODAY. Grindelwald 1 year ago Reply to bustercrabbe Democrats told us that there was no crisis at the border. Isn’t that a colossal lie? At the time Trump took office border crossings were at their lowest levels in decades. There was and is no “crisis” at the Southern border. Is Trump finally addressing 40 years of Chinese cheating a made up problem? How’s he doing that exactly? By raising taxes on middle-class US consumers? By increasing our deficit so we become further indebted to China? By pulling out of a trade agreement that would have pulled Asian markets closer to the US and instituted stronger IP protections throughout… Read more » bustercrabbe 1 year ago Reply to Grindelwald So I guess you are saying there is no border problem…really? Do nothing. 2. So don’t do anything about China? Don’t upgrade 30 year old trade deals…they are all just fine thank you. Lower corporate taxes in the US encourages businesses to stay here. You know why do so many businesses flee high tax liberal states? You pick the industry. May like the movie industry in GA running like hell away from CA liberals…Is it really that hard? Let me know what the economic message of the libs is. What I hear is that we are going to raise your… Read more » Grindelwald 1 year ago Reply to bustercrabbe So I guess you are saying there is no border problem…really Precisely. Most illegal immigrants are the results of visa overstays, not folks walking across the Arizona desert. A border wall won’t stop that. The vast majority of illegal drugs coming from Mexico/Central America enter the US through legal points of entry in trucks, a border wall won’t stop that. A real crackdown on “illegal immigration” would involve significant fines and criminal penalties against employers who hire undocumented immigrants. But we won’t do that because US agriculture is heavily reliant on cheap immigrant labor. Heck, the President’s own golf clubs… Read more » bustercrabbe 1 year ago Reply to Grindelwald Daily Stormer? WTF is that? Your reply to lower tax rates was downright pitiful!! bustercrabbe 1 year ago Reply to bustercrabbe Are our liberals for Bernie’s new proposal of paying off all of the student loans? “FULLY PAID FOR” by a 2 trillion Wall St Tax?! Fully paid for by who? Whoever HE decides to tax… 2 wrongs make a right I guess if you follow this logic. Is this the winning new platform? Grindelwald 1 year ago Reply to bustercrabbe Are our liberals for Bernie’s new proposal of paying off all of the student loans? I am. Fully paid for by who? You already answered this question yourself: “FULLY PAID FOR” by a 2 trillion Wall St Tax bustercrabbe 1 year ago Reply to Grindelwald Grindelwald, aren’t you for reparations for slavery too? Just clarifying. You were for the hundreds of taxes and regulations that Obama passed as well right? NoParty4Me 1 year ago Reply to bustercrabbe who feeds the trolls this crap? asking for a friend. auh2o 1 year ago Reply to Grindelwald Well as a election tactic, the Santa model will fail. The student loan giveaway scheme will also fail. Thank God we still have a 25 year backup of folks who despise giveaways. So, push all of the freebies you want. People will see the hilarity and flock to Trump even more. Benevolus 1 year ago Reply to auh2o We could have done it except trump already spent all the money on a tax break for the 1%! I thought you loved the student loan giveaway!! I cant wait to hear liberals come out and support this one! A bone to a bunch of wealthy white kids too stupid to get a degree they could use and crying about the debt they ran up. Not quite the suffering from slavery ….What do you think the racial component is on that one? 90% White?! What will the minority community think of this pearl of a giveaway?! Another pearl. That, my friend, is reality. auh2o 1 year ago Reply to auh2o First, it’s canceling a non-proportional strike against Iran. Now?? Compassion for the illegals!! No raids after all. Even the opposition has to love this! A statesman to be sure! Grindelwald 1 year ago Reply to auh2o That’s because the raids were b.s. Just like his promise to sue the women who accused him of rape/sexual assault. Just like his promise to show us Obama’s real birth certificate. Just like his promise that he didn’t pay a bunch of hush money to Stormy Daniels. Just like his promise to have Mexico pay for the wall. That there too old to be of concern? Dave Bearse 1 year ago Reply to auh2o Only to the extent of perception of her as an elitist. Elites will always rule. Orwell’s Animal House was one example. It’s only a matter of which elites rule. Numerous vacancies (no one that qualified by even the vary low bar of McConnell’s Senate) the general caliber of cabinet appointments reveal an overall low caliber elites. Trump is in office only because of circumstances of the time. Trump ideas are few, shallow and fixed. He’s subservient to those circumstances despite they have changed and are always changing. He’ll stick with them even though there are other circumstances that could get… Read more » Grindelwald 1 year ago Reply to Dave Bearse I think you mean Animal Farm. The moral of Animal House was that the elites will eventually get their comeuppance at the hands of a band of misfits that loves to party. NY Times: Budget Deficit Jumps Nearly 17% in 2018 Business Insider: The US budget deficit ballooned to $779 billion this year, the highest since 2012, driven by Trump’s tax law and the massive budget deal NoParty4Me 1 year ago Reply to chefdavid The thanks is only due to wrangling by the PSC. “These credits are a result of the reduction in Georgia Power’s federal corporate tax rate from 35% down to 21%” “The typical residential customer using an average of 1,000 kilowatt-hours per month would receive a credit of approximately $18 on their June Georgia Power bill”. An alleged perpetrator already lying about his degree of contact with the accuser (hard to say “I don’t know her” and “I never met her” when there are multiple photos of y’all together). Seems like it’s worth investigating. By the way, are you just a new screen name for the guy that was on here saying that Roy Moore didn’t do anything wrong and the teenage girls asked for it?
