If this doesn’t make your day, nothing will: 97-year-old WWII veteran parachutes over Normandy.
And this plane flew on D-Day. Now it’s back in the air.

$347 million is the estimated added costs Georgians would pay on goods imported from Mexico should Trump’s 5 percent tariff go into effect. Gee, that’s about as much as the expansion of Medicaid under Obamacare that we couldn’t afford.
But hey, the GOP is all in on handouts to farmers to mitigate blowback on the buffoon-in-chief. Cuz that’s how that roll.
“Republicans want to provide legal status for DACA recipients.” said Rep. Doug Collins in response to the House passing a version of the Dream Act 287-187, the first passed by either chamber.
“It’s not like Trump revoked DACA recipients’ legalization. And we held gobs of hearings and brought to the floor numerous amnesty bills when we controlled the House.” [snark].
Interesting assumptions in the fake news survey.
“U.S. adults blame political leaders and activists far more than journalists for the creation of made-up news intended to mislead the public. But they believe it is primarily the responsibility of journalists to fix the problem. ”
“Close to six-in-ten U.S. adults (57%) say political leaders and their staff create a lot of made-up news, and about half (53%) say the same thing of activist groups.” Because lies play better than truth in political campaigns and no candidate sues an opponent for libel or slander. Rules is rules.
“When it comes to identifying very big problems connected to keeping the public informed about current issues and events, about half of Americans (49%) put the amount of made-up news and information in that category. A similar percentage (51%) cites the public’s ability to distinguish between facts and opinions as a very big problem, compared with 37% who see journalists inserting their own views into coverage as a very big problem in how the public stays informed.”
