Eventually we will win and they will give. Meanwhile how much does all this illegal aliens cost us per year? https://www.foxnews.com/us/each-illegal-immigrant-cost-us-82k-conservative-think-tank-claims Grindelwald 11 months ago Reply to chefdavid Yawn. Fake news. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/fact-check-how-much-does-illegal-immigration-cost-america-not-n950981 An estimated half of the nation’s undocumented immigrants are believed to be working under fake Social Security numbers, which means they are paying taxes and into Social Security. The ITEP estimates that state and local governments take in $11.74 billion a year from undocumented immigrants. Wiehe added that undocumented immigrants are also not eligible for the federal earned income tax credit, so they’re taxed at higher rates than similar low-income Americans. I didn’t even take that into account. That should cause immediate deportation. If they will go to that extent when does the law breaking stop. We are a nation of laws for a reason. For about every 30 taxpayers who file their tax returns each year, there’s one business or household that doesn’t. The amount of money they collectively owe is not trivial — about 14 million taxpayers owed $131 billion in taxes and penalties to the federal government in 2017, according to the latest IRS data.” https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2019/4/16/18311366/tax-day-cheating-prosecutions-jail Ellynn 11 months ago Reply to Benevolus FYI Ben, if heading to Tybee this month, the obstacle course at the drawbridge is roughly the same. They do close down a lane a few days a week between 9:00-4:30, but it’s still functional. The state patrol is hang out in the area too since it’s a 40 MPH work zone. Benevolus 11 months ago Reply to Ellynn Thanks! We’ve had to delay until Sept since we moved recently and doing a fair amount of renov at the new place. Selling the RV trailer too, but probably still stay at the campground in a cabin if we can get one. Ellynn 11 months ago Reply to Benevolus Book now. Seriously.
