Another pinch hitter day at GeorgiaPol! Happy to close out a very busy week with y’all.

And one last thought for today from Parker Palmer.

Glynn County Commission called on the county’s state delegation and the Georgia Department of Transportation on Thursday to install suicide prevention equipment on the Sidney Lanier Bridge. Where do these guys come up with these ideas? Tennessee We mess with them on the boundary, they are going to stop giving us these hair brain ideas.

No. I am saying this is a feel good waste of money. You can’t spend enough. If somebody wants to kill them self by jumping they are going to find another bridge, railroad bridge, cliff, tree, building to jump off of.

The coup attempt is over for now.

I’m not going to pretend that yesterday wasn’t a good day for Donald Trump. It was. But it’s important for all of us to remember that this is a 3.5 page executive summary of a much larger document only a handful of people have read. In other words, it’s not the best foundation for basing hot takes. For example, you called the investigation a charade. I’d note that Trump’s campaign manager, personal lawyer, and national security adviser are either sitting in a prison cell or due to report to one. There have been 37 indictments as a result of this… Read more »
