AG Chris Carr Releases First Campaign Ad
Chris Carr’s campaign for re-election as Attorney General of Georgia released its first campaign ad for the upcoming November 6 election. The ad, entitled “Public Service,” highlights “Carr’s work as Georgia’s Attorney General since November 2016” and “his longtime service to Georgia under U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson and Governor Nathan Deal.”
The transcript of the video:
“I’m Chris Carr.
“Working for Senator Isakson, I learned the importance of public service.
“Governor Deal asked me to lead his team on economic development.
“We brought 84,000 jobs to Georgia.
“And after the Governor appointed me Attorney General,
“I prosecuted those who prey on the elderly, protected our kids by fighting human trafficking,
“And every day we’re combating the tragedy of opioid addiction.
“And that’s exactly what I’ll continue to do as your Attorney General —
“Protect Georgia.”

I didn’t think Chris Carr could get more boring.
Can you really call it a “re-election” campaign if you’re appointed the first time?
I’d call this Chris Carr’s “election” campaign. Semantics, but notable.
Getting that “I” beside your name is much greater than just semantics. In Georgia in particular it’s the golden ticket. Just ask Brian Kemp.
It’s wise to focus on service since he lacks experience.
