Regardless of the truth behind the accusation of sexual assault
.
Just gonna point out that the victim reported this incident to her husband and her therapist six (6) years ago, has provided her therapy notes from those sessions, has been interviewed by investigators, and has passed a polygraph.
.
Meanwhile, Kavanaugh has his blanket denial and a letter from 65 girls he knew in high school saying he was a nice guy.

Dave Bearse
Dave Bearse

As far as this goes, Kavanaugh’s lying is the issue to me. It seems to be an established pattern.

jbgotcha
jbgotcha

Exactly:
https://www.cnn.com/2018/09/17/politics/brett-kavanaugh-allegations-future-nomination/index.html?utm_term=image&utm_content=2018-09-17T06%3A59%3A29&utm_source=twCNN&utm_medium=social

This is REALLY important:

1) Dr Ford contacted the Wash Post Tip Line BEFORE Kavanaugh was named.

2) 2012 & 2013 therapy notes reference her assault

3)EVERYTHING occurring to Dr Ford is WHY victims are reluctant to come forward.
Facts matter as does context.

So those 65 signatures were obviously obtained a while back, and prepped ahead of time, with everyone on the Judiciary Cmmtte knowing abt the allegations. But an MSNBC reporter just said they contacted all the signatories, and now that they know the allegations against Kavanaugh, only 2 will continue to publicly support him.

Andrew C. Pope
Andrew C. Pope

If this was a court case, the jury would have to determine which witness they find to be more credible.
.
Speaking from experience, I’d find it much easier to hammer a guy with a history of giving misleading or incorrect statements under oath than a woman who’d given prior consistent testimony about the event and also passed a poly.

bethebalance
bethebalance

There may be perhaps only one way for both stories to be true, and that was that young Kavanaugh was in fact so drunk that he had no memories of it. That of course doesn’t excuse the allegations or crimes, but my guess is that he has some memory and has just been denying for so long, as if he could separate out his past drunk actions from the rest of himself.

What I find odd is how they tracked down 65 women, got them to sign, and had it out in public 24 hours after the allegation surfaced. They either knew it was coming or they are liars.

My high school was public, co-ed, and in AAAAA when AAAAA used to be the biggest classification you could be in. I don’t think I could name 65 girls I went to school with and I graduated 13 years ago, not 36.

Fun Ellynn Fact, one of my oldest friends from my high school class had a baby at 17 and he graduated from HS 13 years ago too… AND his babies 3 & 4 are twin girls.

How many folks dated in high school and how many of us had a “two for one lets hold down the girl for our buddy” occurance? No one? Well I would bet that would be the case for 99% of us if not higher… This sounds as plausible as Trump tinkling in the bed that Obama and Michelle stayed in while in Russia and forming the backbone of the “collusion” investigation doesn’t it? All someone has to do is write a letter to Diane Feinstein. Why even have hearings any more? Since this comes out at the last minute after… Read more »

Apparently a Republican activist put it out to her social circle to get the 65 names. Politico is reporting that they called all 65 and got in contact with 24 of whom 22 said they had no idea they were writing the letter against an assault allegation.

.
Of course, I guess it’s possible you tolerate and accept neo-Nazis because you agree with them. But I don’t think that’s a fair conclusion to reach. I look at Noway’s support more like how the Patriots supported Tom Brady after he (allegedly)(did) deflate footballs. Feel free to create your own analogies. Also, I would gather Tom Brady is way better at everything- personally professionally morally- than the Pres. For those wondering what Peach Pundit’s founder has been up to: . Erick Erickson has spent the last 24 hours doxxing the victim’s parents, drudging up reviews of the victim’s classes by former students, and pushing the narrative that the accusations against Kavanaugh were all a hit job by the Democrats. Here is something that might not be on the radar since its all about Trump’s latest fit, but this could have consequences, and they would be really bad. This month, officials from France, Germany, and the UK have begun planning with China and Russia a special payments channel that would allow these countries to defy new American sanctions against any company doing business with Iran. This is also one of my fears from this inept administration. I’ve been thinking about whether Kavanaugh could be too drunk to remember and I just don’t believe it.
