Since those wonderful, talented young ball player’s immigration status is all legal, I bet we could get them all in a Kemp, Trump, NOWAY carpool! Andrew you could go down to the border and be a coyote driving illegals across the river since you seem so concerned. Drive them to the polls to vote for Hillary again or will it be Bernie or another old white goat?! You know, since the baseball players are not all whining and taking a knee, do you really care about them at all? They seem to be perfectly happy working in the land of… Read more »

“ball player’s immigration status is all legal,” Good point. To Andrew, the vast, vast majority if immigrants who’ve stood in line (for literally years) and followed the rules to properly get their legal status, overwhelmingly support Trump’s get-tough policy on cracking down on illegals who do not. To say, for instance, that Latinos, as a group, have some mythical solidarity with fellow Latinos who come here illegally is BS and a flat out lie. It’s fake news.

As for the point about baseball players kneeling, here’s what Baltimore’s Adam Jones had to say: “We already have two strikes against us already, so you might as well not kick yourself out of the game. In football, you can’t kick them out. You need those players. In baseball they don’t need us.” . Black players make up 68% of NFL rosters. By comparison African Americans make up only 8% of players in MLB, that’s one of the lowest percentages since Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier in 1947. Even counting Asian and Latino players, the league is still 57.5%… Read more »

How funny. There is Al Gore yapping about climate change is hurting poor people again. You know what poor people need more than a bicycle or a Prius? A JOB! Guess whose policies are almost all pro-growth US job creation? Did bringing back trillions of dollars overseas that was hiding from Obama’s tax collectors help these poor people? You bet! I am starting to feel sorry for Peter Strzok…heck he got Hillary off the hook and almost brought down Trump. That is impressive. One, they don’t have schools for infants. Two, we’re raising our daughters bilingually, so when they do go to school, it’s probably not going to be much of an issue. Three, you know they separate the ESL kids, right? Four, I’m not sure how we got onto this topic, since it doesn’t have anything to do with a bunch of mouth breathers paying for a wall that Mexico was originally supposed to pay for. Five, on that front, if you want to play yourself by giving money to a wall that will never get built, be my guest.

More news from the Trump administration. Wages may be down 0.4% adjusted for inflation, but people are working more hours, so their spending wage is only down 0.1%. And this year’s boom times deficit will only be $800 billion. Only a couple of years until it’s a trillion. The national debt is forecast to be $22 trillion in 2020, but Trump will eliminate it if re-elected. Said so hisself.

Don’t have tons of time/energy, but I’ll make your argument fail quickly. Last I checked, about 15-20 cents of every tax dollar went to defense spending. I would also like to note to DTM that the internet was created thanks to taxes.

“The first workable prototype of the Internet came in the late 1960s with the creation of ARPANET, or the Advanced Research Projects Agency Network. Originally funded by the U.S. Department of Defense, ARPANET used packet switching to allow multiple computers to communicate on a single network.”

Trump doesn’t win with a pardon of Manafort. Manafort will be admitting guilt with a pardon AND he loses his 5th admendment rights. So Mueller could haul him in and have him answer every question and if Manafort lies he can be charged and go back on trial.

Prosecution bears the burden of proof. Putting on a defense risks shifting the burden to you in the jury’s mind. It also gives the AUSA free reign to tee off on your defense witnesses and make your defense look less credible. Sometimes, not putting on a defense sends a message to the jury you’re confident the state didn’t meet its burden.
.
There are number of reasons you don’t put on a defense and practically none of them have anything do with anticipating a pardon.

What I have read and you probably know better about this kind of thing but according to some of the legal analysts the defense did not have a whole lot they could do short of putting Manafort on the stand who probably would have been destroyed in a cross examination or claiming the documents were forgeries. Manafort has no character witnesses since Russian Ogliarchs probably would not play too well with the jury.

By the way, what does this have to do with Trump? Can you say nothing. NADA, the null set, zero? Why is he on trial? The judge clearly said it was only to try get him to sing on Trump. No other. I am not excusing tax evasion if that is what he is guilty off by the way… Anyone interested in the real Russian collusion? Everyone including the liberals know where it is. It is clearly with Hillary, the FBI, Justice Department, DNC, the 7 or 8 top FBI offices already fired, they should be prosecuted, the FISA Court… Read more »

What’s this got to do with Trump? Ask Noway. He originated this thread.

Manafort was Trump’s campaign manager. Trump is not under investigation for collusion. He’s under investigation for conspiring against America.

Is it possible that just one day America can be blessed without a massive dose of liberal idiocy? Here is a headline. Why is this historic? A transgender gets elected to this or that in Vermont… Couldn’t any elected official anywhere on earth and go do ” whatever a person needs to do ” to become a transgender? And somehow that is news? Doesn’t Bruce Jenner still have his junk?…What on earth does that have to do with someone being qualified to do anyting better than any of us? Is this where the democratic party is? Martian gets elected in… Read more »

Weren’t you just complaining – like, two days ago – about Democrats running another “stale” white dude? Now you’re mad because a woman won the gubernatorial primary in Vermont (a state you don’t live in and will probably never live in) because she’s transgender? . It’s “historic” because it’s never happened before. That’s kinda one of the pre-requisites to being historic. It’s also a worthwhile news story because her being transgender didn’t disqualify her from office despite the fact we’re apparently still in an era where old dudes on the Internet derisively wonder whether Caitlyn Jenner still has her “junk.”

Listen you guys can run a black, white, pink, purple transgender, Martian midget as far as I am concerned. Boy that would be HISTORIC!! I get excited thinking about it. Hmmm, that would be great for economic growth and jobs right? Well maybe it has nothing to do with it….that is my point. Uh, ever hear the words character, qualifications…? Oh goody, we have a bubbly new 28 year old clueless socialist gal that says like, like, like every sentence. “The next Obama! No kidding…. I get it, you like like like her a lot. And the rest of the… Read more »

Her gender wasn’t a focus of her campaign, issues were. Yet, somehow, you think that she wasn’t elected on the basis of her character? Get the f— outta here, my guy. What a joke.
.
I’m not the one made uncomfortable by it. You are. That says a lot more about whatever issues you’ve got pinging around in your head than it does about me.

If it was the focus of “her” campaign, why would anyone vote for her? I would prefer someone to help my state grow and improve.

I don’t care what is hiding in her undies. Seriously. No interest whatsoever.

Your insinuation that she was elected solely because she’s transgender strongly suggests you are very interested in the issue.
.
Look, go see a professional, don’t make us all suffer because you’ve got unresolved issues in your head.

DTM is kinds sorta still new here. What he’s learning through this particular post is, well, Snivler here is an Ama-Ture psychologist! He’ll attempt to suggest every manner of head case issues! LOL! I do believe Mewler is suggesting we conservatives need a “checkup from the neckup!” You’re a bore, Andrew. Time for another mini, butt-hurt 15 minute self-exile. Please do us all a favor.

Vermont is a lovely state for many reasons. I hope the reason anyone lives there is not what is hiding in someone’s undies.

I thought you libs wanted to get the gubment out of our bedrooms… You guys sound like you enjoy checking out every house cat to see if they are male, female or both… Really? Who cares? Do you know how tiresome and petty that is?
