No response to refuting of the ‘Obama did nothing’ comment either. So I think the way this works is, if you can’t defend your position in a reasonable amount of time, you lose. So at this point, the ‘witch hunt’ freakout and the ‘Obama did nothing’ fantasy are settled law, if you will. Continuing to bring these memes to the conversation without some evidence would just make one look silly, and yes, stupid. We can move on to other issues. Asked why only conservative Republicans appear to be affected and not liberal Democrats, the spokesperson wrote: “I’d emphasize that our technology is based on account behavior not the content of Tweets.” Twitter directed VICE News to a May 15 blog post that explained the company’s new approach to combating “troll-like behaviors.” After making changes to its platform, the company said that “[t]he result is that people contributing to the healthy conversation will be more visible in conversations and search.” . Maybe instead of whining about it (believe it or not, the 1st Am. doesn’t protect your right to appear at the top of Twitter searches) they can try the radical strategy of being less s——y people on Twitter. Isnt that the center of the lies and abuse the year and a half to 2 years? All of the fake news BS! Where is the nonexistent collusion? Do we have to go through all of the collusion in the Hillary exoneration and the “Trumped Up” charges against Trump?! We already know the entire upper management of the FBI has been fired for abusing power if not out and out crimes! How do you deny or explain that? You also know the FISA warrant was issued overwhelmingly due to the fake ass dossier! So you might want to call your self out! Why is Rosenstein being impeached as we speak?! Pope Wanted to move this portion of “downthemiddle”‘s comment in the Legislative Black Caucus thread, since it wasn’t germane to that thread’s original discussion: . Are you dullards saying this reduction in tariffs, which are indeed taxes, is NOT GOOD?! So why don’t you thank Trump for getting this done? Why didn’t Obama do at least SOMETHING about this other than voting “PRESENT” as he so often did as president? Looks like Trump’s RESET button with the EU actually worked for eveyrone. AND we are teaming up together against the biggest abuser China. . Obama did plenty about tariff reduction with the European Union. It’s called the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (T-TIP) and its negotiation was in progress when Trump took over. T-TIP’s agreed-upon goal was zero tariffs between the US and EU and, unlike Trump’s “agreement” yesterday, T-TIP covered agricultural goods and cars. . So, in other words, Obama didn’t just do “something.” He actually did the same thing as Trump, plus considerably more, because the treaty framework the Obama Administration was negotiating covered a wider range of goods and solicited firmer commitments than whatever it was Trump got yesterday. . Also, when it comes to “teaming up” against China, I feel the need to remind you that the U.S., under the Obama Administration, led the creation of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), which would have normalized US-based trade rules – including rules and standards for IP and trade secret protection – and cemented the US influence as the dominant trading power in the Pacific Rim for decades to come. Trump later dismantled that deal and, now, China is racing in to fill the vacuum we’ve created in Asia. July 26, 2018 10:49 AM Log in to Reply Andrew C. They want a dump of all documents and communications with FISC relating to Carter Page or any other person associated with Trump campaign or administration. They don’t like redactions. They think Mueller’s investigation is too broad. They claim the FBI never noted that the Steele memo resulted from political opposition research. The resolution accuses others of dishonesty in failing to disclose information. In fact, the resolution itself is dishonest in failing to disclose what has been disclosed to them.
