There was a hearing today on the Trump charity fraud case. According to David Fahrenthold the judge is urging Trump to settle because the evidence is so overwhelming against him. Trump can be called to testify according to the judge. The judge also says that Ivanka, Don Jr. and Eric should go ahead and take the one year ban on serving on any charity boards and even if they don’t again the evidence is so overwhelming that the judge will do it if they don’t. Also Trump filed 4 false tax returns under penalty of perjury. I don’t know where that is going. The foundation is claiming they did not know what they were doing or did not understand tax law. So I guess they are either claiming to be stupid or only hire incompetent people to work for them.
How could anyone be expected to understand tax law? Or campaign finance law? Or personal financial disclosures?

Catherine Bernard GOP HD 80 is advocating for the abolition of ICE. So it isn’t just some liberals. Remember ICE only came into existence with George W. Bush. For decades before that it was INS. So it’s not like we can’t live without ICE.
I think this is rhetoric that is a direct reaction to the zero tolerance policy. Enforcement policy that swings wide to the right makes for an equal an opposite reaction that swings to the left. After the fight which arose because of a poorly planned and poorly executed policy, it will all fizzle out and go back to the center.
