Kemp Campaign Responds to Cagle Campaign’s Demand

Ryan Mahoney, Kemp for Governor spokesman:

“It’s depressing to watch what career politicians – who are on the verge of indictment – will do when their poll numbers and fundraising are lagging.

“Every contribution received by Kemp for Governor is vetted by both our compliance and legal teams. We have gone above and beyond what’s required by the law to ensure every campaign donation is legal and ethical.

“Sadly, Casey Cagle can’t say the same thing. Thanks to the secret recording, we know that Cagle traded votes for millions of dollars in campaign contributions. For years, he has spent our hard earned tax dollars and sold his influence to advance his political career, pad his campaign accounts, and feed his lavish lifestyle and undeniable thirst for power, prestige, and relevance.

“Our campaign will vigorously and unapologetically defend our actions to the State Ethics Commission and seek legal action against the ambulance chaser that Cagle used to file this suspiciously timed complaint.”

This is going really well. Can’t wait to hear more about indictments and lavish life styles and legal action against ambulance chasers.

Kemp isn’t a career politician? You just gotta love two politicians claiming the other is a politician. I guess they think voters are really dumb.

Mahoney, you owe me money for that line. This whole response is *kisses fingers* just perfect.

“For years, he has spent our hard earned tax dollars and sold his influence to advance his political career, pad his campaign accounts, and feed his lavish lifestyle and undeniable thirst for power, prestige, and relevance,” sounds like a description of a trashy, bodice-ripping romance novel.

And, of course, nothing says “suspiciously timed complaint” like peak campaign season. LOL
