Kudos to Michael Williams and his crack campaign staff for demonstrating the type of initiative, attention to detail, and follow-through he plans to bring to the Governor’s office: http://flagpole.com/news/in-the-loop/michael-williams-deportation-bus-failed-on-so-many-levels The scheduled stop was at a Cracker Barrel in Oconee County—and Williams didn’t give the restaurant chain a heads-up. Cracker Barrel issued the following statement after numerous locals contacted them: At Cracker Barrel, we work hard to foster a culture that is welcoming and inclusive for our guests and employees, founded in mutual respect and equal treatment of all people. Cracker Barrel is not a political organization and has no party… Read more »

The case of #BBQBecky is well known by now. What is not being reported is that the park did not allow portable charcoal grills to be used. Burning charcoal is not a right guaranteed by the constitution.

Yes the Eagles Landing bills signed into law set a very dangerous precedent indeed. Imagine what would happen to say, Atlanta, if the white elite neighborhoods were allowed to secede and create their own fiefdoms.

Was that not the basic idea behind Milton when it was created a few years back?

Milton was formed out of unincorporated Fulton County as have been many other incorporations in recent years. To my knowledge this is first allowing a secession from an existing city.

Hmmm. I feel like I’ve heard of this girl before. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/diaper-turning-point-usa-kent-state-student-conservative-youth-repulican-kaitlin-bennett-a8230021.html “While Turning Point tired to smooth over the controversy publicly, tensions flared on the inside. Several other members of the organization mocked the Kent State chapter via Twitter. Ms. Bennett said she tried to defend herself, lashing out at the other groups in Facebook posts. That’s when she got a call from Turning Point’s chief operational officer, Tyler Bowyer. During their conversation, Ms. Bennett says Mr. Bowyer told her that the diaper incident was inappropriate because it ‘gave the left a lot of ammo to take these pictures and… Read more »

If only capitalist entrepreneurs hadn’t had so much success selling snake oil and tainted vaccines then maybe Teddy Roosevelt (R) wouldn’t have felt compelled to start what was to become the FDA. Thalidomide, typhoid fever, botulism… food and drug borne illnesses rarely seen now due to regulations. But, as we still see occasionally, some people still try to sell tainted products anyway: https://www.npr.org/sections/thesalt/2015/09/21/442335132/peanut-exec-gets-28-years-in-prison-for-deadly-salmonella-outbreak Others may do it unknowingly, that’s why we require permits to sell food- so we can be sure people know how to do it properly. Makes sense. I know I wouldn’t want food from someone who allowed… Read more »

This story was linked by Jessica yesterday and from a more in-depth local source not 2500 miles away. Referenced above under; “But without government, who would regulate the popcorn?”

My local Ace Hardware has a popcorn machine, but they’ve got an employee who will pre-bag it for folks. According to the article, “a customer reportedly saw another person reach into the popcorn machine barehanded.”

I’m sorry, but I don’t want popcorn that’s been fondled by some snot-nosed kid or dude that may not have washed his hands.

Can’t wait for Monday’s Morning Reads where Will can explain how being a “fearless conservative” meshes with being too afraid to leave your tour bus.

If you read the fine print on the back of the Deportation Bus it says to make sure Will Kremer’s mother doesn’t find out that he’s working for Michael Williams, he told her that he is playing the piano in a whorehouse.
