Rep. Brockway Receives Endorsement of 70 House Members for SOS Campaign

Rep. Buzz Brockway, a self-proclaimed nerd, released a list of 70 House endorsements today for his Republican campaign for Georgia Secretary of State. Rep. Brockway states that he is “honored to have the endorsement of 70 colleagues in the Georgia House.  I have worked over eight years in the Georgia House to push conservative issues and no one knows how hard I work better than these House members.”

Given that the opposition is Josh McKoon, Buzz probably would do better to work the old Busbee “Workhorse not a Showhorse” mantra. Done right, SoS just requires one to be a good manager over being a good politician. Unfortunately the current one is neither.

Is it normal for House Leadership to endorse in a primary? Raffensperger is/was a Rep too.

No matter who wins this, it should be interesting going up against (presumably) John Barrow in the GE.
