Department heads are authorized First Class. Always have been. And those with credible threats are authorized even more resources. This is a bit of a red herring. No one said boo under Obama. Now with a adversarial, slobbering and hyperventilating press, anything they can go full bore on is covered. Have some cheese on that Nothing Burger.

No one said boo under Obama because Obama officials didn’t routinely rack up gigantic travel bills and “forget” to do the proper paperwork for personal and official travel.

Pruett has larger problems.

It should also be noted the owner of said condo are the lobbyist for the LNG firms based out of Morocco…

If this was an Obama official, GOP would be calling for him to be fired before the IG investigation was finished.

Looks like Pruitt’s daughter was also taking advantage of a free condo owned by a major energy lobbyist.

Ellynn, I have to respectfully disagree. If this was an Obama official, Paul Ryan would have expanded NASA funding for the sole purpose of firing that person into the sun.

That Voyager story is poorly edited. Here is another link, to the original I think:

Good story.

More from this week’s news: Fox’s Laura Ingraham took a page from Trump’s playbook by punching down on Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg’s college rejections with this tweet: “David Hogg Rejected By Four Colleges To Which He Applied and whines about it. (Dinged by UCLA with a 4.1 GPA…totally predictable given acceptance rates.)” Hogg punched back with this tweet: “Pick a number 1-12 contact the company next to that # Top Laura Ingraham Advertisers 1. @sleepnumber 2. @ATT 3. Nutrish 4. @Allstate & @esurance 5. @Bayer 6. @RocketMortgage Mortgage 7. @LibertyMutual 8. @Arbys 9. @TripAdvisor 10. @Nestle 11. @hulu 12.… Read more »

After at least 18 advertisers announced withdrawing from advertising on Ingraham’s show, “BREAKING: Laura Ingraham announced on tonight’s show that she would take next week off and be replaced by “a great lineup of guest hosts.”

But hey, the American Petroleum Institute is still advertising on her show, so she’s got that going for her.

With all of this ransomware stuff playing out, Amazon has 1TB Seagate external hard drives for 45 bucks. I’m in process of transferring all of my hard drive stuff to one as we speak. So, my laptop and desktop will soon be empty with nothing to get hacked.

Those are hackable, too, my friend.

Destroy your phone and computer with a hammer and revert to using just pen and paper.

I’m half kidding.

If you use an external back up drive and only plug it in when you back stuff up, I’d say its pretty full proof. I know you are half joking but we need to applaud good behavior, regardless of source. As to $45 , is it refurbished? I’ve found that Amazon isnt always exactly clear on that. Good job Norway! I use Timeshift to handle my system backups, but I run Linux exclusively so its a little different. I back up all my personal data in a separate program (Grsync). Linux to me makes more sense as all your personal… Read more »

Even accounting for your intelligence level, this makes very little sense to me. How is there “nothing to get hacked” if you’re still running an OS? How is this Ext HD going to be accessed?

One very basic idea of backing up your data is to restore your files after you wipe the HD clean. This assumes the malware isn’t hiding out of your backup as well.

Besides, who really cares about your catalog of articles of residents blowing away robbers?

Go back to counting your new box of rubber gloves, Doc. At least then you’d be doing something useful.

Oh, and Linux doesnt spy on you like Windows does (especially Windows 10), and best of all is the cost $0.00 (free)
I could teach anyone to use Linux in about an hour…and you’d never miss Windows

Just a reminder that with the President’s announcement that the US will soon withdraw from Syria that we are still warring there with ~2,000 sets of boots on the ground along with 5,000 soldiers still in Iraq. Don’t forget as well that we lost 7 a couple of weeks ago on the Iraq/Syrian border in a helicopter ‘crash’. This is the war that never ends, yes it goes on and on my friend. Some people started fighting it, not knowing what it was, and they’ll continue fighting it forever just because…This is the war that never ends, yes it goes… Read more »

When someone uses a knife to kill 17 school children in 6 minutes, yeah, I’ll be down with knife control.

Noway2016

Realistically, Andrew, knives kill a lot more than the sensational and headline grabbing school shootings.

Guns kill exponentially more people than knives do and make it a lot easier for someone to kill a large group of people in a short amount of time. But please, Captain Fannypack, do tell how knives are deadlier than firearms.

Bruh, it’s a random small town in Northern California removing a statute of a mediocre President. What impact does this have on your life?
