Attorney Bonnie Rich to Run For HD 97

Bonnie Rich, an attorney for over 20 years, will qualify next week as a Republican in House District 97. The seat is currently held by Rep. Brooks Coleman, who is retiring after 20+ years in the Georgia House. Rich stated: “Brooks Coleman has been a passionate leader for Duluth, Suwanee and Sugar Hill. He deserves our thanks, and I’ll represent the area with the same enthusiasm that Brooks is known and respected for.”

“Bonnie Rich is an attorney with more than 20 years of experience in a variety of civil matters including litigation, estate planning, family law and business matters. She has represented individuals, business owners and local governments and has served as in house counsel for a major financial services corporation. Since 2008 she has taught law students valuable skills in litigation, client counseling and ethics responsibility.

Bonnie is a graduate of the Honors Program at the University of Georgia, having received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1991. She received her Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from Georgia State University in 1994. She and her husband, Randy, have been married since 1999 and have two children. They live in Suwanee.”
