Who’s Ready For Some Political Ads?
Well, ready or not it is that time of the election cycle for political ads to start hitting the airways. I have come across two so far, both from Republicans in the race to become Georgia’s next Governor. They both have an ex-military theme and they both enlist actors portraying all or some of their primary opponents. They both are not good at all.
Clay Tippins kicked things off with an ad that ran during the Super Bowl. I rate it a D.
Hunter Hill has an ad of his own. I also rate it a D.

They’re literally the same candidate and are going to cannibalize each other among the anti-establishment vote. And aren’t they both from Atlanta? So there’s not even a geographical advantage for either of them.
Hey, were these guys in the military?
For those of you following at home,
Tippins’ knock on Cagle in the blue suit was done by the same guy who created Dan Moody’s “pearls” ad against Karen Handel.
When an approach works, stick with it.
