Winning for Women endorses Congresswoman Handel

In a press release today, Winning for Women announced their endorsement of Congresswoman Karen Handel. Winning for Women is a a 501(c)(4) “supporting women leaders who believe in free-market principles and a strong national defense.”

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Winning For Women, an organization supporting women leaders who believe in free-market principles and a strong national defense, announced its endorsement of Karen Handel in Georgia’s 6th District. Winning For Women is building an infrastructure that will allow right-of-center women to succeed in their pursuit of leadership opportunities. The women candidates included in Winning For Women’s first round of endorsements have all demonstrated a keen understanding of how to stimulate the economy and protect our national security interests.

“The former Secretary of State for Georgia, Karen Handel has a record of strong leadership and has been a fierce proponent of fiscal responsibility. Throughout her career in both the public and private sectors, she has risen to the challenge of leadership and has never backed down from a fight,” said Winning For Women Executive Director Rebecca Schuller. “Winning For Women is proud to endorse this fiscally conservative leader in her reelection for the 6th District of Georgia.”

Additionally, Winning for Women announced in a separate release the endorsement of other women from across the country. The list included our neighbor to the west, Martha Roby (AL) and our neighbor to the north, Marsha Blackburn (TN).

Congresswoman Handel had this to say about the endorsement:

Thank you, Winning For Women, for your endorsement, and for helping ensure that even more women who have “never backed down from a fight” have a seat at the table solving the problems that face us all.

Yes, Winning for Women is committed to women having a seat at the table. They track professional and elected positions held by women and the numbers are anything but surprising.

Congrats to Congresswoman Handel on the endorsement and representing us at the table.
