City of Atlanta employees get a raise. Potholes were unavailable for comment. Dozens of flavors to choose from. The Declaration of Independence continues to terrify… Unexpected outcomes. After CNN sucks all the air of the week, not just the room, they get journalistic advice from Vox? Plus, South Park. Move along, nothing to see here. These are folks who know how to wield real hockey sticks. Server for we, not for thee. How can we miss you if you won’t go away? The cure for everything? Life imitates Stormtroopers. Pope The Obama piece is one of the dumbest things I’ve read this week (and there’s been a LOT of dumb stuff this week). Obama was warning of rising ethno-nationalism, not criticizing people for being patriotic… “If we don’t stand up for tolerance and moderation and respect for others, if we begin to doubt ourselves and all that we have accomplished, then much of the progress that we have made will not continue,” he said. “What we will see is more and more people arguing against democracy, we will see more and more people who are looking to restrict freedom of the press, and we’ll see more intolerance, more tribal divisions, more ethnic divisions, and religious divisions and more violence.” Only a true dolt would be unable to see the distinction. looks at byline Kyle Olson… that makes total sense now. July 7, 2017 7:25 AM Log in to Reply FreeDuck Ditto. It was one of those headline-doesn’t-match-content pieces that I’m surprised to see linked here. I’ve never seen Obama actually criticize Trump, but given the fact that Trump threw norms of respecting your predecessor out the window, I don’t think it should be news if he did. July 7, 2017 9:02 AM Log in to Reply Dave Bearse Given its becomes a requirement for conservatives to interpret “What does it mean when he says words?”, it’s not unexpected that they move on to reading what they want into coherent Obama statements for dissemination to the rubes. Mr. Trump’s Justice Department will decide whether to approve the merger, and while analysts say there is little to stop the deal from moving forward, the president’s animus toward CNN remains a wild card.” http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2017/07/white-house-if-cnn-bashes-trump-trump-may-block-merger.html July 7, 2017 12:23 PM Log in to Reply Noway2016 Just landed in Mumbai. And if they are wrong, the ACA will require BCBS to credit back to policy holders any funds going beyond a set % of care and profit some time the year after the policy time frame has ended – 2019. Thus BGBS gets to control the argument and can just go oops, if they are over estimating. Legally just go oops, and mail off some checks – damn the costs (literally and figuratively) https://www.axios.com/blue-cross-blue-shield-of-georgia-wants-big-aca-rate-hike-2455031546.html July 7, 2017 8:50 PM Log in to Reply Dave Bearse Good news. Trump was right. Russia didn’t interfere in the election. Putin said so himself. July 8, 2017 1:38 PM Log in to Reply Dave Bearse “Everyone here is talking about why John Podesta refused to give the DNC server to the FBI and the CIA. Disgraceful!” — DJT tweet . Yeah, why didn’t a man who was never the head of the DNC not steal a server and give it to the CIA that never asked for it? Republican rubes want to know! July 8, 2017 2:01 PM Log in to Reply Dave Bearse Lest it go unmentioned here before this weekend’s batch of sycophant Trump apologists appear on camera, Trump’s Homeland security adviser Tom Bossert last weekend defended Trump’s WWE tweet on ABC’s “This Week”. Now there’s judgement and integrity we can depend on to keep us secure. July 8, 2017 2:17 PM Log in to Reply xdog Nothing says ‘batch of sycophant Trump apologists’ like his hand-picked Cabinet. Der Spiegel’s animated video does a great job throughout and starting at 1:30 nails the Cabinet members. Is there any action this President could take that would disrupt your blinding love of anything Trump? July 9, 2017 10:17 AM Log in to Reply Noway2016 Probably not. His common- sense kick-ass-ery is so refreshing and 50 years over due, that I’m like a kid in a candy store, really. I so enjoy The Left’s almost hourly melt downs over trivial crap like what I linked to above. And best of all – Tomorrow is Another Day! July 9, 2017 10:35 AM Log in to Reply Andrew C. July 9, 2017 6:13 PM Log in to Reply Andrew C. Pope Obama wasn’t doing it every freaking weekend after spending 8 years criticizing George W. Bush for playing golf. I bet Obama didn’t drive on the greens either. July 9, 2017 9:16 PM Ellynn It was the Failing Washington Post that ran the actual full length tape and disputed the European originating tape. This was all settled before you even left US air space. It’s smoke cover so other real issues are overlooked. July 9, 2017 7:13 PM Log in to Reply Noway2016 Thanks for keeping track of me, Sis!
