Sen. Hunter Hill Raises Over $1 Million for Gubernatorial Campaign

Georgia State Senator Hunter Hill issued a press release stating that his campaign has raised over $1 million for his campaign to become Georgia’s next Governor. Sen. Hill was elected to the Georgia Senate in 2010. According to his press release, he served as an Army Ranger and completed three tours of active duty in both Iraq and Afghanistan, twice receiving the Bronze Star.

Sen. Hill:

“Upon entering the race in late April, our team set a fundraising goal for the June 30th deadline. We knew our goal was aggressive, but we were confident that by sharing my vision for Georgia we could exceed our goal. This vision is the same one I shared at the Georgia Republican Party Convention in June with activists from across the state where our campaign won the gubernatorial straw poll.

The response over the last nine weeks is clear – Georgia Republicans are ready for a conservative outsider to change the way state government works.

The support from grassroots activist, business leaders, and Georgians from all walks of life, has been nothing short of inspiring. Our campaign’s momentum, fundraising success, and grassroots engagement, are no mistake. I’m prepared to lead and deliver results for Georgians.

Shannan and I are humbled by the trust conservatives are placing in my campaign to be Georgia’s next Governor, and we look forward to earning every vote in the coming months.”
