Unterman: “Hollywood Helps Me More Than It Hurts Me”
Late this morning, Senator Renee Unterman responded to last night’s animated recap of the passage of the rape kit testing bill on Sine Die 2016.
Kyle Wingfield has a detailed recap of her remarks, which were at times emotional, especially as she recounted how she lost her son several years ago.
Sen. Unterman emphasized that she comes from the kind of “red meat Republican district” that will only be bolstered by Bee’s brand of entertainment.

“red meat Republican district” – This is part of the problem, she simply doesn’t understand that this is not the face of Gwinnett any longer.
Perhaps not of Gwinnett as a whole but her district in North Gwinnett is still majority white bread Republican.
