The Gainesville Times and accessWDUN have both reported that Ashley Bell, an attorney from Gainesville, GA (Hall County), was sworn in Monday as a Special Assistant to U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson. He is an emergency appointment that will serve up to 120 days, though President Donald Trump can reappoint him at the conclusion of the period. Bell will work in the area of public affairs to ensure the President’s message on foreign policy is clearly shared with U.S. citizens and the world.
