Walter Jones of the Newnan Times-Herald has the details. “Rep. David Stover has missed the first four votes in the House of Representatives this legislative session, plus the formal swearing-in ceremony on the session’s first day, leading to some concern… Stover did not respond to multiple requests by email and to his cellphone for a comment for this news story. He reportedly also did not respond to messages left by some colleagues and by the president of the Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce. The group’s CEO, Candace Boothby, blamed Stover for leaving his constituents essentially unrepresented during the missed votes.“ There’s been no Amber Alert, and no reports of any ransom demands, but local authorities are distributing the following: Anyone with any information on his whereabouts should contact the Clerk of the House immediately. We know that all our readers join us in hoping that Rep. Stover is found safe, and quickly.
