Well yeah, Boston, it IS personal. Most priced out of in-town real estate. Decatur making plans for the Methodist Children’s Home property. Nothing to see here. Move along. Better, but still over-regulated. Just in time for the Super Bowl. SCOTUS nominees. Some people are really disturbed. Did they quit or were they fired? A fabulous way to while the day (or two or three) away… Share this:TwitterFacebookTumblrRedditEmailPrint Related About Author Ginny 32 Comments Noway2016 We all knew it to be true. A dog’s hind leg ain’t this crooked… http://m.washingtontimes.com/news/2017/jan/26/hillary-clinton-received-800000-votes-from-nonciti/ January 27, 2017 10:23 AM Log in to Reply Lea Thrace Cant believe I actually read that. There is not a single fact contained in that article. Or in the study they are referencing. I fully support a holistic investigation of the election. An investigation based in fact, data, and evidence. This just aint it. January 27, 2017 10:32 AM Log in to Reply Andrew C. January 27, 2017 10:37 AM Log in to Reply Benevolus Well just actually read it for yourself Noway. You just look at the headline and it reinforces what you want to hear so you repeat it. It is fake news. There is nothing in that story that supports the headline. It’s based on a exit poll, extrapolated from that with no logical basis, and the author of the poll/study says it’s wrong to make this conclusion. It’s BS. Just read it for yourself. “620,000 were illegally registered to vote in the 2008 presidential election. Using other measuring tools, they said, the actual number of noncitizen voters could be as low as 38,000 and as high as 2.8 million.” There’s about 5 red flags in that one statement alone. January 27, 2017 10:45 AM Log in to Reply bethebalance that statement def calls the accuracy of the “science” they used into question. that’s like 95% of the outcome could be measurement error. also, applying 2008 surveys to the 2016 election, when much has changed, esp. in terms of voter ID, is not good science unless those changes are controlled for. this “study” is more polemic than science. but it does raise a necessary point- can we please get the voter rolls cleaned up, and help the states make sure they clean it up without disenfranchising people? January 27, 2017 11:45 AM Benevolus I don’t think liberals would have any trouble with that. January 27, 2017 11:48 AM Benevolus Mikhail Gorbachev: ‘It All Looks as if the World Is Preparing for War’ http://time.com/4645442/gorbachev-putin-trump/ I agree Gorby. It seems our appetite for death and destruction needs a fix. January 27, 2017 12:11 PM Log in to Reply bethebalance is that a Guns n Roses reference? January 27, 2017 12:17 PM Log in to Reply Benevolus You’re Crazy. January 27, 2017 12:40 PM Log in to Reply Sally Forth I don’t understand all the whining and complaining by the left. What are they trying to hide? This can only be good – heads we win, tails we win. Voting is our most precious right, and making sure all is in order makes sense. If there are no problems anywhere in the country and all the people who voted were legit, a careful review will show that. If there are problems anywhere in the country that need cleaning up before holding another election, let’s do it post haste. January 27, 2017 12:12 PM Log in to Reply CoastalCat The problem is Trump’s insistence with no facts on 3-5 million illegal votes. Because his ego cannot accept that he lost the popular vote. And not as many people attended his inauguration. He is a sad insecure man. Somehow, when the GOP cleans up voter rolls, it’s blacks, the poor, the likely Dem voters that disappear. January 27, 2017 12:32 PM Log in to Reply Noway2016 Where are your “facts” that your listed groups will be tossed aside? January 27, 2017 12:46 PM Log in to Reply CoastalCat Voting Rights Act. Recent court rulings in NC and VA. GOP officials own words recorded on tape. January 27, 2017 1:00 PM Log in to Reply Noway2016 How does one determine if a person on the voter roll is black? January 27, 2017 1:49 PM Noway2016 He can’t be too insecure. He’s the one ordering the inquiry. January 27, 2017 12:48 PM Log in to Reply bethebalance i think that’s exactly the line of thought that is intended. but a massive investigation, if upon false pretense, can still be used as cover for more nefarious purposes. a sort of witch hunt. for all those afraid of witches, the legitimacy of the inquiry and its implementation is a lost point. January 27, 2017 1:59 PM Log in to Reply Dave Bearse And after it bombs, we’re sure to get a comparable investigation of Russian interference, witch hunt included, in the election. Am I right? January 28, 2017 1:50 PM Benevolus DJT: “We’re gonna launch an investigation to find out. And then the next time — and I will say this, of those votes cast, none of ’em come to me. None of ’em come to me. They would all be for the other side. None of ’em come to me.” Sean Spicer: “I think when you look at where a lot of places where a lot of these issues could have occurred in bigger states, that’s where I think we’re going to look.” January 27, 2017 1:02 PM Log in to Reply Ellynn Alaska and Texas are the biggest, so we start there, right? January 27, 2017 1:17 PM Log in to Reply Noway2016 Or we could start in the same counties where Algore launched is dishonest search for “dangling nads” all those years ago. Lots of lib fraud to be found everywhere, really. January 27, 2017 1:59 PM Log in to Reply Benevolus I don’t think that’s what they meant, but I’m all for it! January 27, 2017 2:02 PM Log in to Reply Andrew C. Pope The “concern” seems to be coming from people that have seen one political party use non-existent claims of “voter fraud” as a means for making it more difficult for minorities to vote. Honestly, though, if Democrats were sophisticated enough to orchestrate 3 to 5 million illegal votes, why would they have those illegal voters vote split ticket for Hillary and Ron Johnson or waste their votes running up the score in states they’d win easily like California and New York? Trump’s legal team has already admitted that there was no voter fraud in this election. The “whining and complaining” stems solely from a man with an basket full of personality disorders. January 27, 2017 2:12 PM Log in to Reply Sally Forth While we’re whining about not letting anybody shine sunlight on our nation’s voting structure, you might want to read the article above, “IG Investigating Obama Admin Cyber Attacks On Georgia Election System”. Why *did* the Obama administration hack into the Georgia state governmental network, including its election system? Why did he and his minions conduct 10 unprecedented attacks into the Georgia system? Why Georgia? Could it have had anything to do with all the (wrong) polls that were showing Georgia “too close to call” and exploring the possibility of internally tipping a close race to HRC? hmmm…… could be there is a deeper reason that the libs don’t want things looked into. January 27, 2017 1:24 PM Log in to Reply Andrew C. Pope I’m down to investigate once we finish the investigation into Trump campaign officials potentially coordinating with the Russian government. January 27, 2017 2:13 PM Log in to Reply bethebalance it could have been some security testing, to identify weaknesses, knowing of the present risk of foreign hackers. or possibly even trying to see if foreign hackers already breached GA’s system. or it could have been spying, to see if there was any improper purge of voter rolls. highly doubtful it was interference, bc it’s the same decentralized system that disallows easy interference with the vote count. i think any investigation into Russian hacking would enlighten this issue as well, as Homeland Security no doubt involved on these fronts.
