Make your voice heard

The Georgia General Assembly’s Joint High-Speed Broadband Communications Access for all Georgians Study Committee is currently conducting regional meetings to gather input on improving broadband service across the state but especially in rural areas.

While everyone cannot attend these hearings, there is an opportunity for everyone to be heard. The committee along with the UGA Carl Vinson Institute of Government has developed a quick survey to insure everyone’s input is included.

Committee co-chair Senator Steve Gooch (R-Dahlonega ) commented,

“We encourage rural residents to take a web-based survey to report their access to broadband. It is critical that we receive feedback from residents throughout the state so that we can move the broadband conversation from anecdotal to data-driven. Thank you for your help in this important engagement process.”

The survey is available at http://broadband.georgia.gov/ and will be open until December 1. All Georgians are encouraged to participate in providing feedback to this important study committee.
