When does early voting begin in GA?

The Eiger

The week of October the 17th. Absentee ballots will start being mailed on September 19th.

In Chicago so far this year murders up by 49% from last year. Violent crime in August was highest in two decades. Black Lives Matter says nothing.

Not sure of what your point is. Black Lives Don’t Matter?

gcp
gcp

Blacks commit a disproportionate amount of violent crimes and blacks are usually the victims of these crimes yet Black Lives Matter says nothing. The only time BLM screams and protests is when a police officer kills a black person or when a nonblack person kills a black yet these killings are relatively few and often justified. The double standard here is obvious.

A tweet from Hill this am…

“Trump just failed his first foreign test. Diplomacy isn’t as easy as it looks. -H
— Hillary Clinton (@HillaryClinton) September 1, 2016”

Truer words have never been spoken. Trump is a true piker. It takes yearsssssss to learn to sell access like she can!

Noway, they never stop – http://www.politico.com/story/2016/08/bill-clinton-used-tax-dollars-to-subsidize-foundation-private-email-support-teneo-227613 – it is really incredible what dems will overlook to continue support for this criminal operation headed by the Clintons.

The Eiger

She is such a terrible person and candidate yet she continues to beat our candidate. Does that not say anything about Trump?

Noway2016
Noway2016

Partially, Eiger, sure. And the media’s relentless pounding on Trump and their ignoring her criminal behavior helps her, too. But the greater reason to vote Dem can be summed up by Confucius, when he uttered those immortal words, “Whoever promise more free s**t, win erection…”

Ignoring? Bart just linked to a Politico article that strongly insinuated criminality in its headline (the only part he reads, apparently). The AP’s article last week regarding the Clinton Foundation tried to portray meetings with a Nobel Prize winning economist and humanitarian as an indicia of corruption. You’ve got Sean Hannity running conspiracy theories about how she had a DNC staffer murdered so he couldn’t talk to the FBI. You must not wach the news much.

Drew, Why would approx 80 people give donations of 150 mil to The Foundation if they expected nothing in return from Hilly, either then or in the future?

Andrew C. Pope
Andrew C. Pope

Because they support the work the Clinton Foundation does? Things like supplying 12 million people with anti-malarial drugs, targeting the root causes of poverty in Africa, etc. The Clinton Foundation is an organization that does actual work and doesn’t just operate as a slush fund for the purchasing of Tim Tebow paraphernalia. You know that more than 80 people gave donations to the Foundation, right? I’m not fighting you on the fact that the donations create bad optics for Sec. Clinton, but there is absolutely zero evidence that donations to the Clinton Foundation actually impacted policy decisions or official actions… Read more »

Of course more than 80 donated. The article was referring to over half of the 154. 80 was my example number. Well, all I can say is that those folks were “awful” generous! Such altruism surely must be admired. And all of this bounty in only two years?! Wow! The Pope is canonizing Mother Teresa soon, you think he may have an extra blessing or two for these donators?

Eiger,

If HRC held a presser for the first time in over a year where reporters could actually ask her about all the unethical to illegal activities, polls might change.

Also reversing your question, she has spent over $200M attacking Trump relentlessly yet she can’t pull away. Does that not say something about HRC?

The Eiger
The Eiger

“she has spent over $200M attacking Trump relentlessly yet she can’t pull away. Does that not say something about HRC?” What is you definition of pull away? She is clearly winning. I will tell you this. If the two are tied in the polls on the day before the election then Hillary wins by a landslide becasue she has the political machine to turn out votes in the battle ground states. If Trump is up by two points in the polls the day before the election then he has a slim chance of winning. But that’s not going to happen… Read more »

“What is you definition of pull away?” – Chicago Cubs. Spent millions, pretty much have their division locked with a month left in the season. That’s how you pull away.

One has to question whether HRC will even be in the mix come November considering the daily revelations coming out about her self-enrichment program known as CGI. At some point even her most ardent supporters are going to have to wonder wtf they are doing.

Noway2016
Noway2016

A friendly disagreement, Bart. Her supporters don’t care. They’d vote for her regardless of her untoward/unethical behavior. Think of the old Edwin Edwards “Live Boy or Dead Girl” maxim. Folks like Andrew screech that there was nothing “Illegal” in her selling access. I guess he finds that behavior and those actions palatable.

Andrew C. Pope

I’m “screeching” that there was nothing illegal because neither you, nor objective journalists, have uncovered any evidence of illegal activity. Unlike some folks, I support the concept of innocent until proven guilty.

You realize that your Cubs analogy applies perfectly to Hillary Clinton? Cubs: 15 games ahead of St. Louis in the NL central standings. Clinton: Ahead in every true battle ground state. FL, OH, WI, IA, NV, NC,NH, PA, MI, VA and CO. Cubs: Current Vegas odds for the Cubs winning the World Series is 7-2. (Ahead of everyone else) Clinton: Ahead in 35 of the last 37 polls nationwide. Cubs: Are spending $171,611,834 to win the World Series this year. They have the best starting pitching rotation in all of baseball with Arrieta, Hendricks, Lester, Lackey and Hammel. Clinton: Deep… Read more »

Except you are not correct in your statement about battleground states where most are very much in play. 15 games ahead is a pull away, being within the margin of error as is the case in most battleground states is a tie. Like if the Cards were actually within 1 game. I’m here all day if you want to dive into poll data: FL – http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/fl/flori da_trump_vs_clinton-5635.html OH – http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/oh/ohio_trump_vs_clinton-5634.html NC – http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/nc/north_carolina_trump_vs_clinton-5538.html WI – http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/wi/wisconsin_trump_vs_clinton-5659.html IA – http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/ia/iowa_trump_vs_clinton-5597.html I could list them all, but you get the idea. You keep telling yourself whatever will make you sleep at night. We will discuss this on November 9th. I’ll be nice then, but I do plan on telling you I told you so.

Bart

Eiger, Look forward to the 11/9 discussion. We can talk about the Cubs winning their first World Series since 1908 and the other Chicagoan who lost despite spending over $2B, about 18x the amount the Ricketts spent to get their ring.

Andrew C. Pope

Even if Trump won all the states you listed, his best case scenario is 269 electoral votes. But, here’s the thing, the models aren’t all that confident Trump can run the table. For example: Florida – 538’s model still has her with a 65% chance of winning Ohio – 538’s model still has her with a 64% chance of winning North Carolina – 538’s model still has her with a 55% chance of winning Wisconsin – 538’s model still has her with a 76% chance of winning Iowa – 538’s model still has her with a 55% chance of winning… Read more »

I don’t think you quite grasp what the term criminal means.

From the Politico article:
“This investigation, which is based on records obtained from the General Services Administration through the Freedom of Information Act, does not reveal anything illegal.”

Reading comprehension: it can do wonders!

Bart
Bart

I know it’s a challenge to wake up everyday as a defender of HRC, but you give it your best ACP. It is easy to grasp the term criminal because we get new examples with each sunrise from the Clinton camp. They skate on a pinhead of illegality with every money making endeavor they pursue, usually at the expense of taxpayers. Maybe one day your candidate will actually step up to face the press in a real news conference where she can try to explain all of her many transgressions instead of hiding while supporters like you are left to… Read more »

Another reason she can’t hold a press conference, TJ. You and I both know she’d have to take the 5th on most of the questions asked! LOL!

I mean, the article is literally: Clinton uses tax dollars given to all ex-Presidents to pay his staff, that happen to be involved in his post-presidency! Next thing you know, you’ll tell me that there’s overlap between Jimmy’s post-White House aides and the Carter Center, or the Bush Family’s post-White House aides and their foundation. So much hot air to justify the fact that their FOIA turned up diddly poo.

Looks like Dade may lead the way on the agenda for tonights commision meeting…. A new transportation special pupose local option sales tax…but that is right after the vote to enact a new hotel/motel tax. Catoosa is going up 10% on property taxes.
