The last thing this country is a man who is willing to assemble a well-thought out conservative policy agenda in favor of policies that fit on a bumper sticker. Fabulous idea. If you were to hand it to my high school calc teacher, he’d probably scribble “SHOW YOUR WORK” in red marker. July 28, 2016 12:37 PM Log in to Reply Nathan Actually, you can find the details of each of the six agenda themes in PDFs on the Speaker’s site, so I think your high school calculus teacher would be happy to see the work. 🙂 https://abetterway.speaker.gov July 28, 2016 1:15 PM Log in to Reply Benevolus “Our Ideas Reward work. I also wonder why Ryan can’t decide between ‘confident America’ and ‘Confident America’. Consistency is important, Paul! July 28, 2016 4:54 PM Benevolus I shouldn’t dis P. Ryan though. He really probably is the best that could be hoped for from the GOP at this time. I mean, he- or anybody else who would take that job- are between a rock and a hard place. Nothing they offer will be acceptable to about half of the party. I guess the WikiLeaks folks are bummed no one paid attention to them on the first go. Second note re: voicemails These things are super dumb. It’s a bunch of voicemails to the DNC from members of the public. Anyone who has interned on the Hill can tell you that loony voicemails are rarely nefarious. Started by a couple guys in 2010, sold at a $600 million dollar value and is now part of a $9 billion venture capital company. There is really big money to be made if you are smart enough to find easy ways for people to give money for any “good” reason. Go Fund Me is not a nefarious outfit, their fees and business plan is on the site. They have a brilliant idea to protect and make big bucks on. Donors are responsible to know what they doing when they jump on the wagon of causes. Counting on a legal investigation to protect your giving is one bad vetting process by donors.
