All should read about the dirty politics Hillary uses to win. This is from a paid Hillary blogger. Read and you will see Hillary will stop at nothing to win, even create false divisions among us.. Below were instructional guidelines from Hillary campaign for posting in October: 1) Sexism. This was the biggest one we were supposed to push. We had to smear Bernie as misogynistic and out-of-touch with modern sensibilities. He was to be characterized as “an old white male relic that believed women enjoyed being gang raped”. Anyone who tried to object to this characterization would be repeatedly slammed… Read more »

“From Daily Kos Staff: (9:15 PM Pacific) The original author of this piece, quoted here in full, was suspended by the admins of /r/SandersForPresident subreddit for using multiple different fake IDs (but same IP address) and numerous claims of being a shill from big oil to airline companies, he/she issued repeated mea culpas about life as a shill. This post is five months old and has been debunked numerous times. In general, linking /r/conspiracy is not a good idea. The diarist was asked three hours ago to unpublish his diary. He has not so he has been banned for posting… Read more »

How do you debunk something that is clearly the talking points used by the Hillary campaign? My bad, this was for B not Charlie…

Well if you are going to use evidence, use something truthful.

There is plenty of record to judge HRC by without having to make stuff up. I voted for Bernie, but would I vote for Trump over Hillary because she hired hardball campaign people? Hah.

B, I like you but the strategy was clear on the smear campaign from Hillary. …….Albright used her famous phrase, “There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women,” to turn young female voters away from the Bernie side: We can tell our story of how we climbed the ladder, and a lot of you younger women think you have to — it’s been done. It’s not done. You have to help Hillary Clinton and Hillary Clinton will always be there for you. And just remember there’s a special place in hell for women who don’t… Read more »

B,

You and I have seen nothing that makes what this person wrote not truthful, in fact it looks like it is spot on. Just because a paid blogger was “using multiple different fake IDs (but same IP address)”, does not make it untrue what the wrote. In fact that backs up what they were claiming. This goes beyond having “hardball campaign people”, it feeds into the worse stereotypes.

Well I am not clear on what your point is. She is not running against Jesus. It’s Bernie, and then probably Trump, maybe Cruz. The only one of them probably not in the mud pit is Bernie. Are you advocating for him?

I advocating for a straight dialogue on the issues. I am surprised you would defend this behavior by Hillary. You and I disagree, on affirmative action, yet both of us agree for equal human rights for all. As you know, I have been blasted by the right and left, when I spoke up about the abuse of human rights issues. This is another classic example of how both sides just blow smoke….at the end it is just political BS with made up issues like in NC. And when I do call out the BS, some how I am the bad… Read more »

John, no one gets mad at you when you call out BS. No one thinks you are a bad guy when you call out BS.

We think you are annoying as hell when you latch onto a person or topic and say the same thing a million times and call everyone else names when they try to point this out. That is all.

“We must get past this spewing of stereotypes verse focusing on real issues.” Then get over it and talk about something else.

I did not call anyone a name. B and I had a very civil debate like we always do. Finally, the last issue (RFRA /McKoon) was about 6 million Jews being slaughtered by Hitler, and countless many who survived branded with numbers on them like cattle. Have you ever met a Holocaust survivor? I grew up with many friends and relatives with countless horror stories about what Hitler did to my people. I will not apologize, for pointing out politicians and preachers that celebrate the holocaust, in the name of Christianity, what Hitler did to numerous friends, and family I… Read more »

I tend to be optimistic and believe we have a lot more people out there like the judge. It’s nice to see it when it makes the news.

I agree, and will probably refer back to and elevate this piece again in the future.

Thanks Charlie, good to see decent news amidst the weekend displays of racism and usual sandbox antics of our presidential candidates.

Is there a feature that can limit the number of comments a single user can make in a given thread? I am sure the number of people in the universe that have ever been persuaded by reading an endless volume of comments written by a few users in a comment thread can be counted on one hand. Let’s intelligently put forth arguments, read responses, maybe clarify a previous statement or counter a falsehood and move on.

At the risk of being non-PC, it could be called the OCD feature.

Yes, Overzealous Commenting Diffuser.

I know you’ve been coming here for awhile, but there is no “leprechaun riding a unicorn over a rainbow to a pot of gold” feature on the internet. Because, internet.
