From a press release:
ATLANTA, GA – Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Gary Black today endorsed Doug Collins for U.S. Senate saying in a handwritten endorsement letter to Doug that, “Georgia interviewers [voters] are wise. You have a wonderful record to offer for their consideration.”
In his letter, Gary wrote:
“Know that Lydia and I fully support you. Our goal is to help you succeed. We commit to pray for safety, wisdom, grace and mercy for your and your family every step of this journey. We trust you to lead. We trust you to defend all life, extend the blessings of liberty and ensure the opportunity for the pursuit of happiness for all our citizens. Press on.”
“Gary is a special and dedicated public servant and a good friend,” Doug said. “He is also the most tireless advocate for farmers and agribusiness Georgia has ever had. Agriculture is our biggest industry and Gary is its biggest champion. The personal nature of his handwritten endorsement and the sentiments it expressed touch my heart and inspire me to work harder and give my all in this campaign.”
