Meanwhile, At The Georgia Capitol
Most of us are getting back into the swing of things, though as of this morning there will still 360,000 Georgia Power customers without electricity, plus many more waiting on repair from Georgia’s EMC’s. Quite a few streets remain blocked, and school and government closings are scattered throughout the state.
In the absence of a full volunteer crew at the ready to report all the current Georgia Political and Policy news to you this morning, we’ll defer to the work of Johnny Kauffman from WABE:
Outside the Georgia Capitol a very spooked baby possum. #gapol pic.twitter.com/MofgDtsTlq

The possum does not seem healthy but it did just find this rotten apple to eat. #gapol pic.twitter.com/XtGdpfuEW6

I've contacted @awarewildlife via email. Hopefully the little cutie will be okay. #gapol https://t.co/MRCT6IvzF2

Update:
.@awarewildlife was ready to take the possum. But it disappeared. Hopefully it's safe. There's plenty of trash near the cap. to eat. #gapol https://t.co/3k9Fkj8qU2
