AJC Reports #GA6 Voter Registration Re-Opened by Federal Judge
Kristina Torres at the AJC has reported that U.S. District Judge Timothy Batten has re-opened voter registration for the congressional runoff election in GA-6 between Jon Ossoff and Karen Handel. Registration is open until May 21.
The Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law filed a suit on behalf of five organizations stating that Georgia law led to the registration cutoff date for the runoff to be two months before the actual runoff was held. Sec. of State Brian Kemp stated that the law has been in place since Cathy Cox held his position.

No chickens involved, Lawton. Or Laton. That’s ‘Lawyer’s Committee’.
The AJC reports that Kemp complained the ruling was a political effort to attack him, when on its face it is a political effort to boost Ossoff.
I always check–Judge Batten was appointed by Bush the Elder and is a GT grad.
It has been fixed. Spell check is wonderful unless your misspelling is another word. Thank you, and as always, we blame others.
