Morning Reads – Thursday, February 11, 2016
On this date in 1812, the term “gerrymandering” had its beginning when the governor of Massachusetts, Elbridge Gerry, signed a redistricting law that favored his party.

Are you fed up with Hillary, too?
Crossover and cast a vote for Bernie!
The Republican race will sort itself out in the long run, but you can contribute to the demise of Hillary by voting in the Democratic primary. We all know a “socialist” won’t win in the general election 😉
You forgot to sign off with “I hate America”.
Here’s a convenient map of SC for all the candidates.

Rubio repeated the truth badly, Obama knows what he is doing, he previously sipped water badly and got his there you go again moment with the media. It was a bad performance not a bad decision.
Figure it out, shake it off or go home. Some of his positions are not my favorites, but he is the cleanest shirt on stage.
I met a Rubio backer last night. I was in line at a store and the woman ahead of me was telling her daughter she was voting for Marco Rubio. When asked why, she said (and I quote) ” When in doubt always vote for the Irishman”. The daughter pointed out he was Cuban not Irish. The woman then said something to the effect that Mr. O’Rubio can not be blamed for where his mother came from…
I snickered, daughter rolled eyes.
Did you tell her she is going to hell for not voting for Hillary……of course not….people vote for weird reasons…..lets hope some anecdotes are rare, like yours……it was so cheezy……..?
At first I thought the women was making a cheesy joke, but she was serious. She truly believed his name was Mark O’Rubio. Her daughter was telling her they would Google him when they got home to show her his real name as they left.
For the record I would never tell a person they were going to Hell based on who they voted for or what they believed. I might snicker and roll my eyes… But at the end of the day, This is America, were you have the right to vote for who you want and follow whatever god and the associated naughty places that go with it.
Plus why would I send the poor women to hell over Hillary?
Somebody should ask Trump if he knows the cost of a gallon of milk, loaf of bread, six pack of beer. Man of the peeps should know, bet he has no clue (see Guiliani, HW Bush for examples).
A man that can call one of his opponents a part of the female anatomy on live t.v, and then go up in the polls is probably immune to not knowing what a six pack of beer costs. He’d probably say, “I have my people buy that stuff for me. I don’t do my own shopping you loser. Duh!”
I agree with his agreement with the lady who appropriately labeled Cruz as what he is.
Bloomberg link doesn’t open fully but a few comments anyway.
Bloomberg (Bloomie) is an interesting character. He is a real billionaire, not an entertainer that grew up in a rich family. He knows how to balance a budget but he is a big government guy; Big Gulp, gun control and a few other issues.
While his entrance to the race would be interesting, he is a little late. Also it’s unknown if he would run as an independent, dem or republican.
Also, today is the 11th. The OCD is coming out in me.
Maybe today really is Thursday, February 10 and it’s just the year that’s wrong. Does entertaining that possibility help with your OCD?
That makes it worst.
You’re welcome.
Any day is a good day for sausage.
Horses sense emotions:
Life lesson; never drink and bring a horse into the house to determine if your spouse is angry.
True experiences: they know when you are dozing in the saddle and will walk under a tree branch or lie down in the creek.
There should be a merit badge each legislator must wear when they pass a law to preserve a third party markup to consumers.
Dentists/hygienists, doctors/labs, distributors/distillers, dealers/manufacturers,
Seems like this should be a slam-dunk. How could the legislature possibly believe that they can restrict access to the law to their designated subscription service?
