The title says its all—today is the last day to register as a voter in the 2016 presidential election. It’s also the last day to update any voter information.
Despite an unpredictable, unprecedented season of presidential campaigns , we can all agree that the ability to be heard by the leaders of our nation is indeed a great one. Every American citizen has the opportunity and the right to be heard through his/her vote.
Secretary Brian Kemp has made the process incredibly easy: “For the first time in Georgia, voters can register to vote or update their information online, via text, or by using my office’s smartphone app.”
Georgia citizens wanting to register or update their voter information online can do so directly from the voter website. Georgians also have the option of accessing the registration page through a free app for Apple and Android devices, as well as via texting “GA” or “Georgia “to “2VOTE” (28683).
Paper registrations must also be postmarked by today.
