I hope they do this, to at least lower the costs of installing a system.
“Senator Jon Ossoff has introduced legislation to make rooftop solar panel installations and solar integrated roofing systems more affordable for homeowners and businesses.
The bill aims to “help accelerate the transition to a clean energy economy and reduce greenhouse gases,” Ossoff’s office said of the legislation, which expands solar tax credits to cover an integrated solar roofing system and roof replacements and repairs necessary for solar panel installations.
From the Georgia Virtue which seems to be a good place for news outside the larger counties. You may find a familiar name when reading some articles.

I have big concerns that neoliberal Dems don’t want to admit Georgia turned and Biden won mainly because Trump failed covid so spectacularly and unapologetically.
Georgia Democrats are retooling for the 2022 campaign.
The party’s executive director, credited alongside chairwoman Nikema Williams for leading the organization’s 2020 strategy, is transitioning out of the role. Scott Hogan will stay on as a senior adviser and help pick his successor.

Hogan, a veteran of the Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton campaigns, was hired in June 2019 after running statewide campaigns in South Carolina and Utah in the previous cycle.
Though he was a constant presence on the campaign trail, Hogan preferred the behind-the-scenes role leading the party’s fundraising strategy, helping to develop messaging and allocating resources during the epic 2020 election.
He’ll depart as the executive director who helmed the Democratic party during a campaign that resulted in Georgia flipping blue in a presidential race for the first time since 1992 and then Democratic sweeps in the U.S. Senate runoffs.
“There are several heroines & heroes in GA who literally saved our Democracy. @hoganscott18 is in the top tier of that list,” said Jaime Harrison, the chair of the Democratic National Committee.
It was one of several personnel moves by the party. Krystal Spencer was hired as a deputy organizing director, Rebecca Galanti promoted to Communications Director and James Jelin named the Digital Director.
Big news tonight from Joe Biden. It will be a firestorm tomorrow in the red states, you know the ones that are placing everyone in danger.
Get the dang vaccine, how stupid do you have to be to avoid a free precaution against going to the hospital?
I bet Kemp is looking at his poll numbers right now. And sweating.
“Anthony Michael Kreis, a Georgia State University constitutional law professor, said there’s “not a thing Georgia can do to thwart” the federal vaccine requirements unless the state seeks to undercut workplace rights established by a 1941 U.S. Supreme Court ruling. He called Kemp’s threat “pure political puffery.”
“If the governor is truly sincere in his statement that he thinks there’s something unlawful in this, he’ll have to answer what other federal workplace safety regulations are unlawful,” the professor said.
“Should we permit society to go back to a time where people were losing limbs to unsafe, unregulated workplace practices,” Kreis said, “or do we adhere to a long-standing social contract of workplace rights?”
