We got this press release from the Floyd County Republican Party August Rally, formerly the Rally at the Tillman Hanger, that will take place on August 7th:
The largest GOP Rally in the State of Georgia returns August 7,2021. Formerly known as Floyd County GOP Rally at the Hangar, we will host the event at the Coosa Valley Fairgrounds located at 1400 Martin Luther Jr Blvd in Rome, GA. Doors open at 10:00am. Lunch will start at 10:30 with our program starting around 11:00. Join us as we welcome invited speakers: Governor Brian Kemp, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, Vernon Jones, Kandiss Taylor, State Agriculture Commissioner Gary Black, Kelvin King, Latham Saddler, Congressman Jody Hice, State Senator Bruce Thompson, Tyler Harper, David Belle Isle, Burt Jones, as well as many other statewide and local elected officials. Cost to attend is free. BBQ lunch provided by Duffy’s Deli $10/per person. Kona Ice, Frios, and many vendors will also be on location. Is the address really on Martin Luther Jr Blvd or is that just goper shorthand, like ‘Democrat Party’?
The warring factions of the Georgia GOP come together for a day to….. not sure what they will be doing. Anyway, I may go just to watch what will no doubt be a total sh*tshow.
Someone needs to start a GeorgiaPol Blue version. I’m tired of nothing but Republican announcements. It is fun to poke them with sharp sticks though.
I would love to go and ask Marjorie Taylor Greene what she thinks of the 5 year old who died in her district in Calhoun from Covid.
She would probably laugh like she did the other day when asked about COVID.
