From the post: “BIG NEWS!I am so very excited to announce that on May 1st I begin as the new Vice President for Institute Relations for my alma mater, Georgia Tech! I will be leading the Ga. Tech team in government relations (federal, state, local) and economic development. This is an amazing opportunity and I am truly thrilled to have this opportunity. This is a perfect place for me to be and I couldn’t be happier!I will be resigning my seat in the House of Representatives, my last day in office will be April 30. I am closing down my law practice. This is a complete “pivot” for me. I have been so blessed by the support of this community, especially in the political arena. I’ve worked hard and am very proud of the work I did, especially in child welfare, adoption, and foster care reform. I will post more on this soon, but I wanted to share the news and begin by saying THANK YOU to my friends. Here’s to NEW CHAPTERS!”
