Jeanne Seaver Announces for Lt. Governor’s Race

A press release issued today states that Jeanne Seaver, former Congressional candidate in GA-12, has announced her candidacy for Lieutenant Governor in Georgia. The press release states that Seaver has been a Georgian for over 20 years and lists her as a small business owner and longtime community and political grassroots activist.

The press release also states that Jeanne is “disheartened with the failed leadership in the Lieutenant Governor’s office” and “she is rolling up her sleeves and is prepared to be a servant of the People.”

Seaver:

“Georgians deserve representatives who put the interest of the people first and push partisan politics to the back burner.

I understand the needs of Georgians and promise to work with the leaders of Georgia to increase everyone’s opportunities for success.

This year has been a very tough time for us all. We need to move forward and continue to combat COVID 19, get businesses back up and running, get working Georgians back to work, and ensure that all of our children can go back to school.

We also need legislation implemented so all Georgians can feel confident that their voting rights are protected. I have plans to address all these needs.

Because of my business experience and my conservative, common-sense approach to politics, I know how to make tough decisions. And I am proud to be someone who has organized and listened to people in every corner of our state.”
