Speaker Ralston Endorses Rep. Collins in Senate Race

Georgia Speaker of the House David Ralston announced today that he has endorsed Rep. Doug Collins in his campaign for United Senate.

From a press release:

“It is an honor for me today to endorse Congressman Doug Collins for the United States Senate seat vacated by the resignation of Senator Johnny Isakson,” said Speaker Ralston. “Doug Collins has been my friend for more than 15 years. I know his heart. I know his passion. I know he will be a great United States Senator.”

“Speaker Ralston is a force of nature in Georgia politics and has done more good for our state than just about anyone I know,” said Congressman Collins. “I ’m proud to have his support and even prouder to call him my friend.”

“Doug’s conservative values were instilled in him at an early age. He has not wavered,” Speaker Ralston added. “He is like a tree planted by the water.
