NRCC: “McBath Jumps on Impeachment Train”
The NRCC sent out a notice today stating that “Lucy McBath just voted with the socialist Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee to launch a formal impeachment investigation.” They state that she is not listening to her constituents, citing a NRCC poll showing that 60% of voters in GA-6 are against impeaching President Trump. 56% of those polled identified as independent voters also were against impeachment.
NRCC Spokeswoman Camille Gallo:
“Lucy McBath showed she’d rather appease the Trump-hating extremists in her party than listen to Georgians. She will pay dearly for this decision at the ballot box.”

Former Congressman Karen Handel issued the following statement:
“For months now, Lucy McBath has refused to tell us where she stands on impeachment. This morning’s vote confirms she would rather stand with the radical House Democrats to impeach the President than get back to work for the people of Georgia’s 6th Congressional District.”

About damn time. We’ve been needing her to get on the train for a while. It’s one of the reasons I voted for her.

McBath is going to lose the seat anyway so it doesn’t really matter how she votes on a minor procedural issue like what happened today. But this does provide social media fodder for her opponent to use next year.

There’s a majority against it only because of its futility. Acquiescing WH criminality is what is radical.
As usual, campaign rhetoric ignores reality and semantics of “impeachment investigation”. It is the duty of the House and Senate to investigate potential criminal activity, constitutional violations and abuse of power by the president. Such proceeding have the ‘I” word as a natural association. The investigations are warranted and have not concluded yet to proceed with a formal impeachment. As another stated, the extremist, regressive controlled Senate will do nothing and that is the reason most people are not screaming for full-on impeachment…yet. Such sentiments are not restricted to GA-6. Even the radical-socialist-labeled-even-if-they-are-not agree with this premise.

Moreover, the 29% demographic represented by the base president will rise up in rebellion if he’s impeached. The base president must lose for the third election in a row but this time it must be so overwhelming that the “29 percent base” cannot question it.
2020 is the key to ending a very dark chapter in AMERICAN history.
