It’s important that you understand that there are evangelicals and then there are people who attend church. They are not always the same.
Its not up to me to judge why people do what they do, but I’ll try to explain some of it. Some of it was a hatred for Hillary. (Not Godly) Some of it was he’s our guy so I don’t care what he does. (Not Godly) Some of it is I don’t believe the media and he is a good man. (This is just ignorance) Some of it was I don’t like him, but he is better than Hillary and will appoint judges that will hopefully be good people. (This is reasonable in my mind)
Also, this idea that evangelicals are still on the bandwagon and Trump can do no wrong is false. IF…That is a big If… Trump loses the next election it will because he loses support among the Christian right and not the working class union members who gave him PA, OH and MI.

I just don’t know why you would assume a legal conclusion without knowing all the facts, especially a conclusion that runs counter to what should be a deference to patriotic professionals.
You know you’re not Trump’s lawyers, right? He’s not paying you, and you can still otherwise like his policies and stuff, right? If you’re so concerned about the FBI, you should be equally concerned about the FSB.
Why not just say you’ll follow the facts as they get investigated? Because it’s so frustrating for your guy to endure an investigation? It doesn’t seem like it’s slowed down his work, based upon the praises you give him, and the touting of all the productivity. Is it just so offensive to be accused? OK, be offended, but you still have to deal with it. By disclosing facts.

Will, I think you are dead right. Trump’s tariffs are harmful on first blush. They are an in the face additional tariff to hurt the ones with the high tariffs in the first place. By eliminating those tariffs at the bargaining table we win. We were getting boned. What happened in the EU? Less tariffs. Would not have happened without the pressure. No one has applied it before. We are already in a trade war with China. We import 10x more than we send to them. We will win. They have more to lose. I want no tariffs… Tariffs are taxes. Another reason I think the socialist agenda is absurd and never wins over time. Massive taxes, little incentive. Massive taxes are nothing more than indentured servitude if you ask me…

I actually saw this on TV when it happened and was sickened by the alt-left freaks being allowed to physically attack peaceful people who were simply leaving a Trump rally and going to their cars.
