Michael Williams Makes an Endorsement

Sen. Michael Williams has made an endorsement in the upcoming runoff. It just happens to be David Shafer in the Lt. Governor’s race. From an email from the Williams’ campaign:

“In our campaign for Governor, we raised important issues, spoke to them fearlessly and shaped the race. I may not have won enough votes to make the runoff election, but the impact of our campaign is still being felt. Both Casey Cagle and Brian Kemp are running on the issues that we brought to the forefront.

The race for Lieutenant Governor has also gone to a runoff.

I voted for David Shafer in the primary and I will be voting for him again in the runoff on July 24th.

I can tell you from the four years that he and I served together in the State Senate, David Shafer is a rock solid conservative. He has fought as hard as anyone to cut taxes, limit spending and protect our God given rights.

I encourage you to visit David Shafer’s website and learn more about him and his record. He loves America, supports our President and believes deeply in the values that are making America great again. He is the right choice for Lieutenant Governor and I am proud to endorse him.”
