Rep. Loudermilk: Mike Pompeo an Excellent Choice
Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R, GA-11) has issued a statement praising President Donald Trump’s choice of CIA Director Mike Pompeo to replace Rex Tillerson as Secretary of State:
“Today, we find ourselves at another pivotal moment for our nation. President Trump’s administration has made progress in dealing with denuclearizing North Korea and voiced plans to reform our country’s trade deals – none of which will be possible without a steady hand directing the State Department. That steady hand will be my former colleague, Mike Pompeo. Mike’s time as a member of Congress and as Director of the CIA undoubtedly makes him an excellent candidate to be the United States’ next world-wide ambassador.”

A steady hand is about all the qualifications he’s got for the job.
Dude’s an Islamophobe, no spy experience before being appointed to CIA last year.
But, he’s a conservative Christian and probably expressed deep loyalty to The President ™.

Pompeo, a guy with zero experience will be supporting the unstable dotard in a pivotal situation. The situation is indeed ripe for a North Korean breakthrough.
Dave, what IF, and it’s a huge if, what if Trump gets a deal for denuclarization? Even CNN calls that a potential huge accomplishment. Nobel, start engraving that name.
He’d deserve the Nobel.
As I said recently, I’m hoping one of my Mega-Millions tickets comes in too.
Here’s a prediction. The meeting never occurs unless there’s something hot in the news that needs to be overwhelmed.
Has Trump actually made any deals yet? He’s pretty good a breaking them. The only thing I can think of is the tax cut, which was pretty easy since it’s just a cash payoff before the midterms that is really just a loan from the next generation.
Generally, Trump seems to have a hard time accepting”yes” for an answer. He always wants more.
Does anybody really believe that Donald Trump would be able to negotiate a nuclear deal with NK, with an inspection regime (from who, the UN?)? No, Trump will try to bully and bluster, Kim will say something like “send a proposal”, Trump will claim victory and the lemmings will eat it up, then it will be “negotiated” for the next 3 years, and ultimately nothing will likely change.
Who in this administration would negotiate such an agreement? Only 3 of the top 9 positions are currently filled.

China would certainly need to be involved with this negotiation. Our ambassador to China is the former governor of Iowa. He has been in Iowa politics since 1973.

Angela Merkel seems to be doing a pretty good job the last I checked she is still a female. I don’t think has transgendered… There are countless reasons she lost. The was not trustworthy and not likeable. She was lazy and overconfident. She believed the lap dog press clippings. Its embarrassing to listen to her not take ownership. How she still lost with a rigged primary and a rigged election with the help and COLLUSION from the IRS, the FBI, the State Department and the Justice Department, the press and half of the republican establishment is stunning. YET SOMEHOW SHE STILL LOST! And these same characters tried to frame TRUMP FOR COLLUSION. Her privileged attitude is has helped create this embarrassing, spoiled, nauseating snowflake outbreak in this country. Just go away Hillary. Please. Take the Foundation money and leave the country before you are indicted.
